I hope your trading is going ok - were you ok on the trade (apologies I don't remember which company) you were shorting?

Good evening Babywolf

One never knows what life will throw at one.

House prices in London appear to be in another world.

As you say, the past is the past and nothing you can do will change it.

We live and hopefully learn.

Good fortune with the trading.

Works are not complete but I've moved in and the postal order is needed to finish the carpentry off.

I trust all is reasonable if not well with you.

Some interesting days courtesy of Mr Putin and maybe more to come.

Are you all completed in your new home or are you 'expectng a postal order' before continuing with other works ?

Yes quiet on here but am glad to see Bracke posting on the entertainment channel (aka the FX thread) with the occasional guest appearance of El C

Hi All

Penycae - glad you liked the music :)
I did miss the cable move but would like to short it when it gets toppy ie 1.68-70 - its been years since it was at that level.

Loved my cute card over at FX - obviously not as important as El C's poem though..

Poor US data is keeping the $ down which is assisting stocks.

There is data to-day starting at 1.30 GMT which may affect.

PS the big move you spoke of Penycae might be what is happening right now ie a weakening dollar?

I'm watching cable - having gone back and forth to the States for many years, I havent seen the rate at this level in a long time.
I dont know how it works though - whether the US are happy about this as it bodes well for foreigners to buy their goods therefore its in the US interest to have a weak dollar - or it's bad because it compromises their purchasing power overseas.

Bracke - before you say it, I know!
Trade what I see and not what I think!

Surely there can be no greater compliment than to have a poem (I use the term loosely) composed for you.

El Chupacabra - Poet to Babywolf.

Pleased to read you got out of the DOW trade in one piece.

Let that be a lesson to you. Remember it. Put a stickit on your computer:

'THE DOW WILL WIPE ME OUT'

I strongly suggest you do not trade the DOW until you are trading profitably on the FTSE.

Morning all. Not been able to post much, still looking after the family jools. Only got next week to do, then me and the monkey will be back to normal. Got to make my peace with the dogs who have taken to hanging round the breakfast bar on their own.
Off to Oxford in a minute. Hope it's not underwater. Just bought a few RR.
Trade we'll and prosper Earthlings.

I find it amazing however that wernluck who is obviously extremely skilled at what he does pays no heed to anything other than the chart!

Speak tomorrow Bracke. Have a good evening.
