24/10/2017 10:09 | One thing that doesn't get touched on a lot on LSE is patents.Think I need to do some digging,I think it's important moving forward. The "crowded ecosystem" does concern me. | baggariddim
24/10/2017 09:58 | I don't mind the q updates but im not a fan of holding information back. The amount of people ive seen on boards saying "wheres the update? Why arent they commenting" etc merely breeds suspicion amongst the more nervy and fuels the sceptics. If SEE have updates let us have them in a timely manner. | justin1117
24/10/2017 09:54 | I think historically SEE haven't been known for their PR poombear and maybe have missed opportunities because of that. The updates have also been unreliable with the timings which gets people jittery but they seem to have had an injection of investor communication recently.Obviously there's confidentially issues but I want to know my money is going in the right direction as the ink is drying. The updates were very informative but not all investors look at seeingmachines.com.R | baggariddim
24/10/2017 09:32 | So was I the only one who liked the Fleet quarterly updates? Don't get me wrong I still would like updates as they happen as well. | poombear
24/10/2017 09:26 | Releasing news as it happens is always preferable as it reduces the possibility of insider trading. | cfb2
24/10/2017 08:21 | 4.2+ are buys. Expecting MMs to try a shake ahead of TR1s tomorrow/Thursday | kingkongtimmo
24/10/2017 02:26 | Thanks for the communication poombear.Personally I'd prefer news released as it happens. This stops spikes when we're overloaded with one update only for it to drift when there is a drought of news.Aim seems to like regular RNS imo. | baggariddim

23/10/2017 08:21 | Someone on LSE said the Canaccord note was now on the Seeing Machines website. Can we have a link in the header, its a good read for new and existing investors? | poombear

23/10/2017 07:07 | Seeing Machines Technology Enables GM Super Cruise Driver Assistance System 23/10/2017 3:46am PR Newswire (US) Seeing Machines (LSE:SEE) Intraday Stock Chart Today : Monday 23 October 2017 Click Here for more Seeing Machines Charts. CANBERRA, Australia, Oct. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Seeing Machines (AIM: SEE), an industry leader in computer vision technologies which enable machines to see, understand and assist people, announces the automotive production debut of its FOVIO driver monitoring technology in the 2018 Cadillac CT6. The FOVIO based driver monitoring system (DMS) forms an integral part of General Motors' industry leading Super Cruise hands-free driving system for the highway, ensuring safe and confident vehicle operation. Seeing Machines Technology Enables GM Super Cruise Driver Assistance System Overcoming the challenges of reliable driver monitoring is critical in hands-free driving systems to address the need for keeping drivers engaged and prepared to re-take control of the vehicle when required. The Cadillac Super Cruise system uses FOVIO vision technology, developed by Seeing Machines, to enable a gumdrop-sized infrared camera on the steering wheel column to accurately determine the driver's attention state. Determining driver attention state is accomplished through a precise measure of head orientation and eyelid movements under a full range of daytime and night-time driving conditions including the use of sunglasses. If the driver looks away from the road or closes their eyes for more than a few seconds, a light bar integrated into the steering wheel will flash to guide the driver's attention back to the road. If the system determines that the driver is continuing to ignore the road, intentionally or otherwise, a series of escalating visual, audible, seat vibration alerts are employed. This is followed, eventually, by an automatic safe stop of the vehicle if the driver does not, or cannot, return their attention to the road. "Keeping the driver engaged is one of the requirements for Super Cruise," said Jon Lauckner, GM's Chief Technology Officer. "With the help of Seeing Machines we were able to develop a driver attention system that was effective, but not intrusive." The launch of Super Cruise marks the beginning of Seeing Machines mass deployment of DMS technology in the automotive industry. This is coincident with the company's ongoing work with a growing range of OEM and Tier 1 partners, as demand increases for the FOVIO DMS platform and processor in support of semi-autonomous driving, driver safety, comfort, and convenience applications. Mike McAuliffe, CEO of Seeing Machines added: "The Seeing Machines team has worked very hard on this breakthrough Driver Attention System (DAS) technology for a number of years and is proud to have helped GM bring to market the world's first hands-free driving system for the highway, with Super Cruise. We look forward to continuing our GM partnership as we continue to advance the development and integration of our driver monitoring technology into GM's DAS." | runthejoules
