This is in a death spiral - will not be able to raise anything at this level and what's the point anyway?
It's a bit like propping up those old tech/dotcoms that failed to make anything - just money down the drain.
We're looking at 2 years for recovery not 2 months and with overheads like this forget it.

I would have thought that with LAN also on the brink, if there is anyone out there mad/brave enough to get into the UK furniture retailing business at the moment, they could cherry pick the best sites / lease deals from these 2 businesses.

How about "Land of Upholstery"?!?

much better to do a deal with the liquidators and cherry pick the stores they want.

why keep the dross in the bad times, some of the stores can't be worth saving!!

lots of job losses to come IMHO, I understand liquidators are very busy at the moment, maybe TNO is worth a flutter.

Any investors in scs will want a massive chunk of equity in return . Shares are worthless if by some miracle they survive .

well you could of bought TW. at 45p and sold BDEV at 96p..

its v. difficult for furniture makers esp in a mkt like this.. i hope it does survive, but i fear not.. i can't see the mkt getting better for this sector, so the question is how will it survive, will banks support it, high dilution?

good luck..

Like i said it is not investing it is taking a high risk position, on rare occasions the market gets it wrong and i am hoping that a value of 4 million is too low for this company.
