QP, ATT currently holds over 7% of nav in AMZN. Although the manager is less of a buy n hold type than Mr Anderson.

GOOD POINTS QP.
Indeed will do a bit of searching.
In the meantime I remain a satisfied SMT holder.
They are to be congratulated I think.

I WONDER IF ANY funds hold Amazon as well, apart from SMT?
UK that is?
I suppose they must surely?
It's a pity they have to keep it to the ten per cent, though I understand the discipline.

Didn't stop that hammering Tesla shares yesterday. Elon Musk and his two cousins have been borrowing and spending like water on Tesla, Solar Century and Space X. Even Musk's pockets are not bottomless. I wish he would concentrate on one thing at a time - electric cars. I have growing holdings in Lithium X (LIX:TSX)and Northern Graphite (NGC:TSX) both of which are highly tipped to supply Musk's gigafactory for lithium ion batteries. I just hope he does not run out of loot!

SpaceX is a private company, and not part of Tesla.

Surprised that the Space X blowout effect on Tesla has not percolated through to SMT this morning. We are up!

The 10 pc is a COLL rule. Nothing to do with the wishes of the board.

The amazing thing is that Amazon would now be about 20% of SMT's total if the trust had not been obliged to top-slice the position a while back(because the board prefers that no single position is more than 10% of the total).

It's a perfectly sensible policy, but in this case it has proved expensive!
