Expecting today's NAV release to show weakness again with further declines after some hefty falls yesterday from the likes of Amazon and Tesla.

Market sentiment for Tech stocks is faltering. Hardly surprising given the massive run-up this year.

I,m a buyer sub 300. if there is a sell off we could easily see 30% down from where we are now.

True mad foetus. The main point of my investing in trusts is to avoid the temptation to fiddle around. Buy and keep is the idea. On the whole that is what I have done, bought 41 lots only sold three so far, but I have only been doing trusts for 20 months.

Well done puffinTo be honest, although I don't have a position in SMT, I think the best way to approach it would be through monthly savings over the long term and try not to look at the share price too often.

This was one of my first investments in ITs, October 2015. Quite a spectacular return. Now I am suffering from vertigo so have taken the plunge and sold out for now.

Agree been watching this for a while and to be honest the fact that it has nearly doubled in 18 months raises a few red flags to me certainly as far as opening new positions. They will surly be quite exposed to a tech downturn in the states.

Having said that well done to those who have invested here certainly got a better return than I have over that time!

All well and good QP, but the p/e of Amazon and other big tech stocks is getting ever-more eye-watering. And despite the many geo-political threats around, market volatility as measured by the VIX sits at three year lows. Very odd, and it all smacks of investor over-confidence.James Anderson is a fantastic manager, so I hope he is building up cash in case of a big market set-back. Others I trust, such as Gervaise Williams and 7IM, are tippy-toeing to the sidelines. I'm starting to do the same.
