02/2/2016 12:18 | Pleased to note that Amazon will not allow ivory sales Commonly sold in trinket form.Apparently Yahoo Japan is not so ethical. 'Several big brands like Google and Amazon are refusing to sell ivory. Yahoo is one of the few major online markets left.' This is from Avaaz where they are encouraging protest in good causes. imo | hazl

29/1/2016 09:05 | Yes I read that it had dropped back after hours Q how about the remaining investments? Don't worry had a look myself and obviously AMAZON Largest holding | hazl
29/1/2016 08:49 | Interesting one today. Amazon rallied enormously yesterday and at close was up maybe 9% . But in after-hours , it traded back enormously as it had a small miss on analyst expectations on its Q4 numbers. According to my understanding, Amazon closed at $635 up by 9%. But in after-hours, it tumbled enormously by 13% to $550. All above figures approx. It is my understanding that ScoMo use CLOSING PRICES , not after-hours prices. It will be interesting to see what happens to their daily valuation announcement today. Because that after-hours movement in Amazon would make a noteable difference to daily valuations. ALL IMO. 22/1/2016 18:55 | I mostly find myself nodding off after 20 seconds when a fund manager gives an interview. This however is riveting. James Anderson in full flow on YouTube uploaded November from a MoneyWeek interview earlier in 2015.:- ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
22/1/2016 14:26 | Hardly going to be much different to yesterday's I would have thought?....NAV IMO | hazl
22/1/2016 11:13 | Yes, some of the majors like Shell, Exxon and Total look enticing at these levels. Good point. I doubt whether that is what ScoMo will put into their portfolio but for income-seekers some of the oilies look attractive- although the question of massive oversupply remains a great challenge. Good point. Agree. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
22/1/2016 10:33 | QP: might not be a bad idea to add a few oilies in the next few weeks tho | walter walcarpets |
