14/11/2016 09:59 | That is my reading re: in--house. They need to be careful given PAYS are on the acquisition trail - I feel that they need to also be active or be left behind | trentendboy
14/11/2016 09:30 | Retail security derivatives fx is a key area of focus for Safecharge Things could get very interesting here for the patient. | slipperysidewinder
14/11/2016 09:19 | With a company like SCH there is not much rationale in bringing things in-house. Sagi can quite simply pass on the SCH businees card while dealmaking for Playtech. I think things would get a little too complex (customer relations wise )if SCH was gobbled up by Playtech. What we need is Safecharge to make a decent aquisition. Hopefully Sagi is dealing with this pressing issue. | slipperysidewinder
14/11/2016 09:08 | Good question. Are SCH still close to PTEC?Why do you think PTEC do not buy SCH and bring it in house?I suspect it is so SCH can get customers that are PTEC competitors. There must be a strategic reason somehow.US situation with conservative US cannot be good for business unless trump sees the tax revenues from gaming as useful | trentendboy
14/11/2016 08:51 | Today playtech made a major further strategic move wholea whole new multi billion dollsr world of financials. Make no mistake, if Tedi Sagi decides to push Safecharge in the direction of the hundreds of CFH clients and their customers, it will propel Safecharge share price into the stratosphere. All in all todays aquisition by Playtech could prove revolutionary for both them and Safecharge. Fingers crossed. | slipperysidewinder
24/10/2016 19:20 | I expect to be bought out because they are pretty small. £3.50 currently is my expectation given the cash position. | pyemckay
24/10/2016 17:22 | Im so frustrated with this compsny. They need tobcrack on with deals fast or they will inevitably be left behind in this fsst paced sector. | slipperysidewinder
14/10/2016 09:11 | Looks that way, hard to see this not being a continued rise. They do need to spend some of the money but having a 100 million in the bank is not such a bad position to be in. Special dividend is something they might want to consider | trentendboy
14/10/2016 08:19 | Rising again today already. As well as benefiting EPS, the 1.9m share buyback has likely cleared out the seller. | rivaldo
13/10/2016 16:09 | in both directions - it is a pattern with this share - hence not for widows or orphans or those that use close stop losses. I just buy more on the dips each time. Higher lows | trentendboy
13/10/2016 15:27 | Big moves on little volume. | friendofslippery
13/10/2016 15:25 | Boom - remember this really shifts when it stars. A classic mom share | trentendboy
13/10/2016 15:20 | Hmmm Moving at pace now. Making me feel a little better. :-) | friendofslippery
13/10/2016 13:28 | Starting to move now - no reason why it shouldn't climb back to 260p for starters. SCH has over £100m of cash - a £4m buyback to save future share issuances, at this (imo) bargain level - seems to me an extremely good use of a very small part of that cash pile. I agree it's certainly about time for an acquisition, or special dividend, though I'd much prefer the former. They did state only last month: "We continue to look for M&A opportunities...." Let's hope the looking results in success soon. | rivaldo
13/10/2016 09:14 | The share price creeping back up. Higher lows and then the creep up. If one can pick the lows each time it is happy days. Spread coming down on SCH a little so it looks like there is a little more liquidity. Be interesting to see whether SCH continue to buy more at this price - I must say it does show confidence in what they think the valuation should be. On the other hand, that cash could have been used to buy another company or be invested somewhere else if the returns were there. One could argue buying shares is the best way to get a good return. | trentendboy
12/10/2016 23:13 | Total of 2.4m held by the company | johnv
12/10/2016 12:03 | The chart tells the picture of the last time SCH purchased their own shares - big jump up in a very short space of time. | trentendboy
12/10/2016 11:53 | Wish it would do a ALT :( | johnv
12/10/2016 09:57 | Looks like we could be on move again? | friendofslippery
11/10/2016 16:56 | Remember that this share can really shift on low volumes. Both up and down! Not one for windows and orphans but the story is just too good here | trentendboy
11/10/2016 16:38 | i want some at 170p | opodio
11/10/2016 16:34 | TrentEndBoy :o)) Nice close...hopefully bodes well for tomorrow. | rivaldo |
