Companies are generally supposed to make profits and share some with shareholders.

Trading share valuations is more like player poker with another player.

That's why the shares are down. The company doesn't make money but burns it and no one wants to hold a share running out of cash to operate. If the company should make money or at least the possibility in the future then things will be different.
