It's just a stalker, a previously convicted one, called Dean Haigh.A sad little fella, life has been unkind to him, to be pitied really. His posts amuse me, and I filter each of his 500 or so fake usernames as soon as I realise it's him.

Can't remember, all I remember is, my 8m, at a tiny fraction of a penny wasn't worth much, and was a tiny portion of the shares in issue.CGH sits in my account, as a zero value, for years now, irritating the hell out of me, rubbing my nose in my loss.

Hi guys. Thanks to Marmar for the heads up.Nope, I've not heard a thing. Ive got 8m of these, sitting dormant in my trading account....I wrote them off years ago.But this is a very welcome little reminder that they are not quite dead.

Just popped back in here- that was my conclusion too- so will be holding on to mine :-).

Am guessing ‘festario̵7; hasn’t heard anything given size of holding (9million or so from memory)..

If you’re right MarMar80 and I don’t doubt you are then I might as well hold on and see what happens.
Does smell of someone trying to obtain shares on the cheap!

This offer is close to 2.2m mcap of CGH. 4-5 times less than company valuation per my calcs.

The Acquisition Consortium are prepared to offer 0.202 pence per CGH share which was the delisting price.
They are only targeting holders who have less than 3 million CGH shares.

What price do they offer?

I didn't get any letter, but note CGH owns 41% of Contango and this is about 10m GBP. Per my quick calculations it is about 1p in old Sable share value.

Yes I have.
Seems like they’re after cheap CGH shares!
Contango Holdings Garalo gold project could be worth holding on for.

Can’t find anything on the ‘Acquisition Consortium’

Anyone else had a letter from AG suggesting 3rd party interested in CGH shares?

I know man and hope one day this will wake up. The main Nimba Iron Ore Project in South-East Guinea($1.3 billion worth) seems to be still not sold and not developed further. There was a bribe case against Sable but they won it 2 yrs ago. Maybe they are looking for a buyer too?Fingers crossed.

Indeed Marmar!Good to hear from you again. So, Cotango have placed almost £6.5m worth of shares, in order to buy an asset that we own.No wonder the CGH company was never officially wound up, it had assets which we knew nothing about, at least I didn't.I have tried on several occasion to contact the representatives of CGH, but I've never had the courtesy of a reply.I stopped trying about 2 years ago...and they have never updated the website as they promised.
