Yes, why not say "We found oil bearing intervals etc". I would reckon that they "have" indeed encoutered oil at those depths. Badly worded as you say

"Based on seismic information we anticipated encountering oil-bearing intervals at depths of 4,100 meters, 4,242 meters and most importantly at 4,386 meters, some 16 meters deeper than we have drilled to date."

This "we anticipated" makes it sound like they failed to find anything so far,is that an accurate reflection or is it just worded badly in the rns?

Smarty, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.
I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!
It's dead Konil, but not has we know it.
You want the truth? You cannot handle the truth.
You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?

smarty, i hope so. and also hope that operators are in fact picking up cost overruns. the report may not state this specifically but we may get an idea when we see what cash burn has been since the ar.

Nope, it'll be this week.

Konil,

At lease you'll get some idea of cash burn although i expect to see the operators picking up the cost on overuns etc and doing a deal post outcome on the success case and will lose on a failure.

Trading is unbelievable and it definitely is the quiet before the storm, good or bad.

In my mind it`s simple, did the NED get it right,
he knew he had to buy 3month previous to any market
changing announcement, so he bought in June, knowing
any news would be given with interims, last week Sept,
million quid question, was he right?

I'd say it's a small possibility <10% rather than a real possibility.

Meanwhile 2018 and exploration license termination draws ever nearer.

No oil exploration is a shoe in. Much that A6 is an appraisal well, the oil companies do get the seismic wrong and it's not an exact science as we all know !

A5 was shouted from the rooftops as a considerable find and it is now critical that A6 is the same. Even if they mess it up again a la A5, the key point is that the oil is there and they'll have to beef up the technology to ensure that they don't mess up again. This obviously brings in the issue of additional cash and associated dilution but this is going to happen at some poinnt, hopefully when share price @ a higher price.

I suspect that the time delay is due to probs OR they're taking their time to make sure that everything is done properly this time. I'm hoping that they've drilled to TD, taken cores & ran the flow tests at 3000bopd !! Now that would throw the cat amongst the pigeons and positives on 801 and A5 would really send this north. That is a real possibility but then again, this is Roxi !!

I've heard nothing but it's my wager that's why we haven't heard anything re the deeps. Perhaps it isn't the shoe-in we were led to believe?
