i am new to posting on this website so i appologise if im boring but qtr is a stock i have been researching for sometime as the applications for its ip are staggering but getting them out there has always been a problem. i recently went through their finances and can say that their cash at bank is in the region of 700k and their cash burn has been reduced to about 10k a week so they have sufficient funds now for the coming year. the pending news you are all talking about is a potential contract . i think you are wrong i think it will be a tie up with a major telco to take qtrs network national and use their ip to develop it. if this happens this stock is seriously undervalued as all potential users of the network will sign up because of the telcos commitment. these will include addison lee , the met police and a multitude of insurance cos. if the telco does this deal in the uk other regions such as holland and uae will very quickly fall into place and we will have a cracking company to play in . i feel 10p would easily be reached on a network deal and 25p on further networks around the world . remember this ip is second to none. speak to you all at 10p. good luck

3. extensive list of clients who will sign if network goes national
4. low overheads
5. if a telco like bt/o2/orange or vodafone do uk deal europe will fall into place very quickly

the technology is the product . it will be licenced out to users once a nationwide network in place. the network will be run as a jv with a telco responsible for the network and qtr for ip

The investments may be made in exploration or development stage undertakings or in producing assets.


So you all think the company are lying in this RNS, do you??
They state quite clearly what the new principal business is.
There is no mention of any plans to make an acquistion.

Pomp - This isn't a cash shell.

They've stated that they intend to invest in mining stocks.
It also looks expensive cf.assets.

From the RNS:
"The Company currently holds cash balances and listed investments amounting to £850,000 and remains well funded for its current activities".

At 1.875p, with 116mln shares in issue, it has a mkt cap of over £2mln.
Investment companies usually trade at a discount to their assets.....

Why all the doubters? If I understand it the reason that the company was created in the first place has FAILED and, therefore, they must find pastures new. 850K cash and 116 mill shares issued would ensure a BONANZA payout if they decided to return shareholders money. WHAT BETTER TO GO DIG A BIG HOLE IN THE GROUND AND....BURY IT. Please, all idiots out there,follow this space for electrifying news of the discovery of AN ENTIRELY NEW METAL UNKNOWN TO MAN.

A typical small cap farce. I really can never figure out why people get involved in these sort of situations. Like lambs to the slaughter. It makes me want to start up a small company and regulary fleece shareholders. Seems like an easy way to make a living.

Why are some people still buying this?

Is the market really that full of idiots, whose sole investing strategy is to buy the biggest fallers, in the hope that they regain previous highs??

As this company has now lost any "blue sky" potential that the dreamers may have believed in and is now nothing more than an investment company(which usually trade at a discount to their assets), it looks considerably overvalued IMO.
