04/10/2004 10:38 | £3mln market cap(ADVFN are miles out with their figure of £1.2mln!) for a company whose product has failed commercially in two countries and are now acting as consultants, trying to sell the same product in new locations.... 03/10/2004 19:55 | dil - A few questions from me: 1) Why wasn't a proforma balance sheet produced showing the company's position, post the placing of QTT(uk) in administration, to assist further understanding of the company's current financial position? 2) Why do QTR think they will be able to convince prospective licensees to invest in the system, when it has failed commercially in both Australia and the UK (Especially, considering that there are many competitors operating with apparently commercially viable systems). 3) Do they foresee problems getting the forthcoming FY results signed off as a going concern, with no current revenue(continuing operations:nil in interims) and considerable ongoing cashburn? 4) Do any of the directors of Quiktrak UK or Quiktrak Networks Limited(Australia) have any links with Multitrak, who appear to have taken over Quiktrak Networks Limited(Aus)? 01/10/2004 12:48 | I'm amazed she said that to you though rcorlett2. Because that's the type of thing she should have said to the lse? You know, notice the movement, can confirm we are in discussions with a number of parties etc. | archangel gabriel
01/10/2004 12:34 | I wouldnt take her bubblyness as anything to go by given the my conversations with a certain female at CST. | jedi shorter
01/10/2004 12:33 | Well maybe. Who knows, she couldn't say anymore except a deal was not "imminent- not today, monday or tuesday anyway" | rcorlett2

01/10/2004 12:30 | I have just spoken to Annie Richards (corporate communications manager) @ Quiktrak. They have noticed yesterdays increase in the share price and were called by the LSE but they will not be putting out a statement regarding the 60% increase. She tells me that they are speaking to alot of people regarding contracts but they are not about to sign a deal within the next day, monday or tuesday. She was very bubbly and did sound relatively excited though (may just be her general demeanour...) | rcorlett2
01/10/2004 11:58 | has anyone called the company to find out if any news is in the pipeline? would they say? if not i'll give them a shout | rcorlett2
