25/10/2016 12:08 | Huge buy just shown up | aimmafia
25/10/2016 12:06 | Newbee:) I was here 1 years ago. Doesn't deep water drilling need $80 oil to be economic? | zhockey
25/10/2016 10:13 | Absolutely agree GD. Barry roe is more important than ever to spread the risk. Desired result is to farm out Druid and get a partner on board to share the costs. Then get partners on board for Barry and Spanish Point to increase funded activity. Doesn't make sense to blow the entire pot on one wildcat well in the Atlantic. As you say, in a success case PVR would be a juicy takeover target. | funtimejonny
25/10/2016 09:57 | Steel, I am in agreement with your post 42407. Lets hope Barryroe gets farmed out and the second appraisal well is drill on it. Then in June 2017 a drill on Druid happens. Should both come is with excellent results, PVR will be a take over target and it won't be for peanuts, that is assured. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
25/10/2016 09:13 | Steel,Would be too big a project for Providence for sure. Such an outcome is what new investors would be in favour of no doubt. A Barryroe deal is vital in case Druid don't amount to a hill of beanz...... | hermana3
25/10/2016 08:45 | Herm - a takeout on the back of a decent results is the most likely outcome n'est ce pas? | steelwatch
25/10/2016 00:47 | zhockey - I think SW answered that very well actually. I also think what is more relevant is the fact that a lot of 'newbies' are surfacing on this BB ;-) | stockriser
24/10/2016 22:49 | zhockey - if the exploration well next year finds any, unlikely to be in production for at least 7-10 years, so not expecting anyone to be able to answer that with any degree of objectivity. | steelwatch
24/10/2016 22:37 | Does anyone know what oil price Druid needs to be economic? | zhockey
24/10/2016 15:39 | God doesn't it get boring here sometimes... | funtimejonny
24/10/2016 14:48 | Seems about right to me Steel, but WTFDIK | funtimejonny
24/10/2016 10:38 | Things are looking up thankfuly. May recoup a little of this nvestment after all. BTW who is the sad creature who makes it his job to downvote comments here? | pjd2000

24/10/2016 00:57 | herm. re FTJ request for report on conference would be appreciated. Likewise for me and thanks in advance. | isef0001
23/10/2016 18:57 | Yes aim to be there as always an interesting event and wont disappoint this year either. I see Petrel are due in Court(report in Biz Post today) over dispute with Woodside over failure to do promised 3D seismics. Once again a tiddler fighting the odds against a biggie. | hermana3
23/10/2016 13:52 | Emm. Will you be attending the conference yourself this year Herm? Report appreciated (unless earth shattering deal announced in the meantime)! | funtimejonny
23/10/2016 11:36 | Pat Plunkett is no seat warmer and will propel PVR forward. Whether he gets involved in farmout discussions is open to debate but formulating a more effective strategy is what he did so well at Tullow and so far at T5. Hope he turns up at Atlantic Conference on Tuesday week as would be nice to hear how he hopes to tune this ship around. | hermana3
23/10/2016 11:18 | abu - not enough I suggest or qualified enough. Poppy appeared to base his original decision on how the contract should have been worded - the way I read the comments some time ago. However, this game changed, as I see it, with the new funding requirement. Almost certainly dependant on a new face on the board - Mr P or another. And that is when I put money into PVR. The assets are there, but the leader ... Mr P is also why I put new money into LOGP. And Brandon's money to save LOGP was probably with the proviso that a proven professional was installed into PVR. Funny, when I had an opportunity to ask Malcy a question a week or so again, I asked him if Mr P was up to the job. If you read my postings, you will see that I consider Mr P more than a poster boy. Back in the day, snr was one of my business heros, jnr is no snr. All in view and I am well aware that there are plenty on this thread who I respect and, who are better qualified than me to comment. But I cannot be defensive about jnr. IMV he hasn't cut it. I really believe MR P can. The industry respects him. Tired myself out. Can't post for another week you will be pleased to learn. LOL. tv | thevoid |
