07/4/2016 15:36 | So sell price down to 100 now and haven't taken my option up yet (deadline lunchtime tomorrow) - not terribly compelling! | davr0s
05/4/2016 12:10 | Eburne1960 thank you for directing to the prospectus - I've got it now. Strange that the link on the right hand side of the home page which says publication of prospectus does not take one to the prospectus !?! Anyway thanks again. | db60
04/4/2016 19:21 | Actually db60 I have read it - you still appear to be reading the announcement of the issue of the prospectus rather than the prospectus itself. Go to the company website (www.phpgroup.co.uk) - on the bottom left of the front page under where it says "Latest Documents" is a pdf - this is the 202 page prospectus. The announcement is an announcement not a prospectus, which is why it says it is not a prospectus, whereas the prospectus is a prospectus, which is why it says it's a prospectus. Perhaps you understand now why I gave you the short version.... | eburne1960
04/4/2016 18:36 | Thanks eburne1960. Unfortuneately the Prospectus on PHP website states exactly the same! I wonder if you bothered to read it before you responded in such a short manner. | db60
02/4/2016 20:36 | db60 - if you're that easily confused it might be an idea if you read the prospectus (on PHP's website) rather than the announcement of the prospectus! | eburne1960
31/3/2016 21:00 | So with a 1.3p divi for existing shares, that would take the closing sale price today from 102.25 to sub 101, compared to the new shares. So a 1% gain - I'll probably take mine but hardly seems worth it as I hold a good chunk already | davr0s
23/3/2016 10:01 | Fees paid of £4million to advisors on the placing. That's 3.3% of gross proceeds. A shameful amount which reflects very badly on Management.Placing the new shares at a 9.5% discount will be a piece of cake for brokers involving very little hard work.Management and shareholders have been taken to the cleaners in this respect. | maiken
22/3/2016 16:11 | Winsome and eeza-- Totally agree, though the percentage price retreat is much less than AGR. Have lots of both already, but I regard them as equivalent to bonds and very safe. I will take-up and buy more. | bscuit
22/3/2016 09:39 | "the discount for the placing seems excessive" Not to mention the £4mill expenses. | eeza
22/3/2016 09:25 | For long term holders it is positive. Not sure if I'll subscribe for any more at 100p. I'm loaded up with enough Assura, PHP shares and bonds. | winsome147
22/3/2016 08:29 | It will no doubt pick up in time but the discount for the placing seems excessive. | salchow
22/3/2016 08:15 | Just when my holding was starting to go positive.... Last weeks rise was too good to be true. At least they are doing it for good reason but my experience is this can put the price into the doldrums for a while | davr0s
22/3/2016 07:46 | So we get a spike in the share price a day before they announce a placing. Same thing happened to Assura share price a few days before they announced a similar placing last year. Is this legal? Besides that, I predicted over on the Assura BB that PHP would follow in Assura's foot steps and do a placing to fund more development but mainly to clear debt. Good to transfer it to shareholders to earn the div instead of the banks and PHP may well join the FT250 with the enlarged market cap just like Assura did. Happy days for these companies and solid holdings. | winsome147
19/3/2016 00:10 | Would have preferred it in 2 weeks when I will bed and ISA part of my holding! Concerned this might be a pension fund predator movement. MW has long thought that is a possibility. | bscuit
18/3/2016 13:33 | That rise was unexpected! | doe808
04/2/2016 11:58 | PHP's strategy of increasing its size to cover the dividend has worked and there is little reason to believe that the progressive dividend policy will not move on from here. Looks pretty solid to me. | ygor706
24/12/2015 08:23 | What a nice bounce :). Perhaps we'll break 110 before year end. | shakeypremis
16/12/2015 13:53 | Didn't spot those but should have. L2 showing strong support at 100 as you would expect and not too much before we get to 105 so as you say time for a legup | davr0s
16/12/2015 10:34 | Seems like this share is ready for the next leg up if you ask me. Two big buys gone through within 8 seconds of one another: 16/12/2015 10:24:01 PHP 100.75 O 1,250,000 16/12/2015 10:23:53 PHP 100.75 O 1,224,745 | shakeypremis
16/12/2015 00:12 | Disappointing fall in share price Any views anyone? | melody9999
22/11/2015 02:13 | Mr Bearbull in IC prtefers ESP to PHP in better yield and both operate in "favourable big picrure". PCTN also mentioned. Certainly PHP has outperformed AGR in last year ON A TOTAL RETURN BASIS. | bscuit
12/11/2015 09:47 | but price appears to be picking up.....RB price is over £60 and they haven't done a split and price has moved up well over the years,,,, perhaps they want to make price more like that of AGR. | bscuit
12/11/2015 08:34 | 4 for 1 share split today which looks like a horrendous share price drop on the screens. Be interesting to see if the sub division leads to more interest in the shares. | ygor706 |
