13/5/2015 10:27 | Thanks that would explain the trigger as he posted at 9.35 Ridiculous. Like the Simon Thompson effect (or doesn't that work any more?) | zoolook
13/5/2015 10:19 | Thanks meijiman. | longshanks
13/5/2015 10:15 | A move like this might get a statement of no reason for rise and everyone will bail. Im waiting for a pull back if it does | tjbird
13/5/2015 10:14 | Well well. I think it might be folk looking at what the likes of Cape has been saying and maybe Wood Group today and thinking that whilst its tough out there its by no means the end of the world scenario which seemed to have been baked in to the PRES share price.Got to agree with poster longshanks- 1347. | meijiman
13/5/2015 10:13 | that guy is getting too powerful... | longshanks

13/5/2015 10:03 | Strong balance sheet - good dividend - diversified business portfolio - cheap and over-sold. Reasons enough I think. | longshanks
13/5/2015 10:00 | Bid approch? | tjbird
13/5/2015 09:53 | Has this been tipped? | zoolook
01/5/2015 14:30 | I agree with the previous comments about Alan Wilson. He clearly knows his sector. Just to add that PRES has a strong management team and so I see Alan as a check and balance. I don't think that John H needs much motivating. He also owns a significant slug of the company and he is very approachable by shareholders. | james188
01/5/2015 14:16 | Guys. Thanks for the feedback to-date. I am just interested in his approach as he has just taken a non-exec chairman role at another company where I am invested and I am hoping for him to take the bull by the horns and bring some commercial prowess to the business (MWG). | norbert colon
01/5/2015 13:51 | Adding to Zoolook's comment the chairman suggested he was a (frequent?) share trader by nature so didn't feel comfortable owning share in PRES whilst Chairman as his trades could be misconstrued in terms of company prospects. | cockerhoop
01/5/2015 12:58 | Quite a few people consider that NEDs should not own shares to avoid a conflict. | rcturner2
01/5/2015 11:20 | Does anyone on this board have any experience of dealing with Alan Wilson whether discussions at AGM's or other dialogue? I understand he is very capable and hands on and I am keen to hear from any investors who might be able to provide me with a quick summary of him. Thanks in advance. | norbert colon
29/4/2015 09:20 | Weir shares up 2% today in a flat market. | brummy_git
29/4/2015 08:41 | Read across from WEIR this morning not very encouraging nor that from HARDIDE. Slowdown may already be in the price but unless resuts better than expected potentially a further downside reaction (poss say up to 20%) if worse than expected. (All imo dyor no investment advise intended or given etc all cautions apply) | pugugly
22/4/2015 13:03 | Earlier in the year the board said something along the lines of "this years results wont be effected due to the orders wauting, but a reduction may be seen next year". That was before the share price halved. | coppertrader
