PE of 12.5 for the year just ended, and that's before taking into account the latest news suggesting that EPS is set to come in ahead of expectations.

Quite pleasing overall. No further slowing in oil and gas anticipated. Rest better than expected.

The answer is yes and I see from my notes at the Jan AGM they were talking about taking orders for high pressure storage solutions to be used in hydrogen refuelling at the end of 2016.
They have a commercial relationship with ITM(in whom I also hold shares) and who are big in this and whose site you pass in the taxi from Sheffield Station to Pres's office.
For me at this stage it has no impact on the sp

Whilst the value of the Naval contracts aren't that significant in the context of the total CSC output they are in terms of the military side which has been expanding recently and is a further diversification away from O&G. This area has high barriers to entry and I perceive it to be higher margin business which must be welcome with the ULC's being under margin pressure. It also looks as though CSC are working hard on their insitu testing offering with a series of events showcasing them in November. Again another higher margin potential string to the bow.

I agree, not a massive amount, without looking i think the revenue for chesterfield last year was 10 mil, so this would represent 20% of last years full order book.

It was a news article on the Chesterfield Cylinders not an RNS.

With all due respect and whilst every little helps, £2M worth of orders (this is a series of smaller contracts, not one largish one) isn't exactly massive.

New multi year low in spite of above mentioned orders.

Could this just be the result of general global slow down and and reduction in orders or could news of a profit warning be leaking ?? or maybe even a pending rights issue similar to that announced by Chemring ??

I know nothing but searching for reasons ??
