10/12/2016 12:48 | Thanks revoman, get the interception risk, good point. would you mind expanding on the modification of photo risk and how the photo booth would help here - still a bit lost! | smokybenchod
10/12/2016 12:38 | And pictures down those secure lines can't be doctored / photoshopped. | revoman
10/12/2016 12:30 | Post can be lost / intercepted. | revoman
10/12/2016 09:53 | Holland and Belgium interested in the photo booth passport application system apparently with trials in the UK starting next month - sounds promising. Call me a bit slow but can someone explain the specific use case where this method of application is actually more secure than the current postal method? I can't seem to figure it out based on the information provided. hxxp://www.thisismon | smokybenchod
09/12/2016 17:33 | I'm very upset with this company. In the last 4 years the share price has doubled and they have paid me 25p in dividends. It really is not good enough. Anyway here is the CFO Gabriel Pirona and his take on the results | shauney2
09/12/2016 16:42 | 158.00p close. Lol !!!! | eeza
09/12/2016 16:26 | If you go to the PHTM website and look under laundry heading you will see illustrations of their washing booths. Disappointed to see the share price fell back over the day. | el-tel
09/12/2016 15:24 | Sheep Herder, Sorry, I have to take that comment back because I cannot find it anywhere, looking through old scsw newsletters. If anyone has access to the archive online with scsw then they might find it.. or maybe I'm getting confused, won't be the first time. Still these are big machines for big items such as duvets, not the old smaller laundry machines. I tried finding nearest revolution laundry machines to home on the kiswash website...the website doesn't seem to have the info. Feeling a bit frustrated by the share price rise today. Am I being greedy to have hoped it had been a bit more dynamic?? | shanksaj
09/12/2016 15:20 | @ gleach23, SHANKSAJ - Paul Scott is off this week. Today's SCVR article, and all those this week, have been written by Graham Neary, who has been filling in for Paul Scott (check the name at the top of the article). So I think you both might want to edit your posts to reflect this. Maybe either remove Paul Scott's name entirely, or replace it with Graham Neary and/or SCVR where applicable. 09/12/2016 15:17 | NB It's Graham Neary doing the Small Cap Value Report this week, Paul's on holiday. | b1ggles
09/12/2016 14:44 | Aimed at hotels? What you on about? | sheep_herder
09/12/2016 14:40 | Thanks for that Gleach Graham Neary SCVR - "But I'd still happily pay a very high earning multiple for a business which can generate cash and economic returns like this one" At 162.5p and assuming 9p eps (the lower end of expectations on this site) and assuming the cash remains as low as £68million (almost impossible for Photo Me seeing it seems to be always throwing off cash) then the PE ratio at 162.5 is 16. I think it must be fair to say Graham is talking about a much higher figure than 16. Maybe something closer to 32, or double current share price. GRaham talks of launderettes and laundry machines not being a growth area: Is he aware the target customer for Photo Me launderettes are hotels, restaurants, etc not home-dwellers? These are not the traditional small washers and dryers, as far as I know. Anyone seen a Photo Me launderette in the flesh? | shanksaj
09/12/2016 13:17 | A nice write up from Graham Neary in today's Small Cap Value Report on Stockopedia - | gleach23
09/12/2016 12:28 | fft Thanks, but I'm not asking about dividend, I'm asking purely about eps. The total basic div this year will be 7.03p, (3.09p interim and 3.94p final), and yes, it looks like there might be a special div on top, but that will depend on how much capital expenditure happens in next few months. | shanksaj
09/12/2016 11:36 | You need to add in the special dividend when they have more than 50m in cash. At the moment the special dividend would be 4p or so,. Which when added to 3p today and 5p or so at the finals would be 12p for the year. Gives a yield of more than 6?. | fft
09/12/2016 11:27 | Some put the full year eps at 12p. But last year's full year eps was 7.72p. Add in 17.3% and you get 9p. So which is it? 9p or 12p? Anyone like to comment? | shanksaj
09/12/2016 09:39 | Not selling any here running this all the way to £2 | nw99
09/12/2016 09:16 | Every £3.5m cash on the books above £50m is 1p div. Currently £68m cash balance... | snadgey
09/12/2016 08:48 | Nailed another! Booking profits into this rise. Got some good growth in China and the Laundry business is doing well. Very strong operating cash flow too, the bulk of which has been reinvested into the business. As others have pointed out, the constant currency growth elsewhere isn't brilliant - doesn't mean to say PHTM can't hold the current valuation. News on Japan could really elevate things to the next level so I'll be back buying on weakness. Smoky, the differential is the currency impact. -------------------- Sphere25 5 Dec '16 - 11:30 - 6831 of 6880 0 0 Edit Been buying this morning. Perhaps some of the weakness recently has been explained by the Italian Referendum and some anticipated catastrophic fall in the euro? The chart looks like it is finally turning up, and with results on Friday, I'd expect a fair bit of buying pressure into the results. Further to the trading statement (below), there has to be a strong possibility of upgrades to forecasts on Friday. -------------------- Sphere25 - 20 Oct 2016 - 08:54:48 - 6696 of 6831 Miles ahead of forecast Revenue +18% vs forecast of 11% Profit +14% vs forecast 5.5% | sphere25
09/12/2016 08:34 | Pretty good results - only thing I didn't get is that laundry revenue was up 79% against the same 6 month period last year in this announcement, although in the trading statement two months ago it was up 192% against the same 4 month period last year. One of these figures has be a mistake or am I missing something? | smokybenchod
09/12/2016 08:22 | toyin, okay, thanks. Will take a closer look later. | sheep_herder
09/12/2016 08:20 | Retsius, It's a bit of a sausage party here so I'd keep your labouring libido to yourself. :-) | sheep_herder |
