03/1/2017 14:41 | Interesting to note that this is the 7th most popular pick (out of 596) for investors in this year's Stock Challenge -hTTp://www.stockcha | gleach23
03/1/2017 13:51 | Added a small amount, hopefully some of the excitement dies down as some get bored and sell. A 3 year consolidation period for the SP, can it finally break out in 2017?. Will try to check out their ASDA offering, a little sceptical on this but perhaps PHTM more than deserve the benefit of the doubt. Just think they have exciting growth areas to focus on atm and saw this investment as unnecessary. | essentialinvestor
01/1/2017 09:38 | Share Centre 2017 tip:Photo-Me Internationalhigh riskPhoto booth operator Photo-Me International is a cash-generative and increasingly innovative business which has concentrated on expanding into new geographic markets and new products, the latest being a trial of carwashes and smaller laundry machines. Results towards the end of 2016 increased expectations for the year ahead and investors should appreciate that the company aims to continue to diversify its operations next year.Photo-Me is confident that a significant proportion of future revenue will come from its futuristic photo booths, which will print pictures in 3D, allow card payment and enable digital photo printing. Another growth area, which Photo-Me International is well positioned to benefit from, could come from improving security and fraud prevention for the authorities. Investors should recognise that the company intends to increase the dividend by 20% for the next two years and there is also the potential for further special dividends.price on 28 December 2016: 163.5p | revoman
30/12/2016 10:53 | My apologies that I didn't know about the rentals. However I don't believe it's a good market to enter, with no usps like PHTM has with its agreements with supermarkets, train stations, etc etc. Competition will simply drive prices down in the rentals business. | revoman
30/12/2016 10:48 | Well that surprises me with mob phone cameras. Think we can all agree 2017 may prove exciting. | essentialinvestor
30/12/2016 10:44 | I've already seen them at two weddings I've been to and another corporate event (all 3 were not photo-me) - the demand for this is growing IMO. You just have to google photo booth hire to see the companies that offer this. Not a core offering for phtm as you say but wouldn't harm to try and build some market share early on. | smokybenchod
30/12/2016 10:35 | Would see that as a very modest additional revenue generator. What is driving renewed interest here is laundry and heightened security risk which may play to PHTM's core business, just my take. | essentialinvestor
30/12/2016 10:35 | Perhaps you should get to know more about PHTM. They have been renting out photo booths for parties and corporate events for years. Prices start at £650 for 6 hours. | carcosa

30/12/2016 10:25 | Rentals for parties and corporate events. Someone to drive the booth there, collect it afterwards etc etc. Manpower needed as opposed to PHTM who just leave the machine to do the work - much better rate of return, and the machine is available for use 24/7, 12 months of the year and not at the occasional party or corporate event. Not an avenue PHTM want to go down... | revoman
30/12/2016 09:41 | Eh? Parties and corp events? How does that work? Spending a party inside a cramped photo booth doesn't sound like my idea of fun (though it might depend who was stuck in there with me). | b1ggles
29/12/2016 22:47 | These have been in the UK for years now. A lot of parties and corp events have them. | silverfern
29/12/2016 21:23 | Staying in Bologna at the moment and these booths are doing great business all over the city. Definitely becoming fashionable. | philanderer
29/12/2016 19:06 | Could be headed for a REAL breakout & over 200p... Chairman's big buys, the fat divi yield & the growth path PHTM is on would justify that. Only question is how far beyond 200p? It has certainly been some wait for the last three years....... | napoleon 14th

29/12/2016 17:15 | Well pleased with today. I wasn't sure if I'd mistimed with yesterday's purchase. Luck to all holders 😀 | philanderer

29/12/2016 15:50 | Just need to extrapolate the £9.9m laundry contributed in the 1st half to see how much free cash will be generated by 2020 when they have 6,000 units operating... | snadgey

29/12/2016 14:40 | At 168p the div yield for this year is 4.18% and for next year is 5.02% excluding any special dividends, which are 50/50ish. For a company that is throwing off cash and growing 5.02% yield surely is bonkers. The share price should be above 200p. | shanksaj |
