07/12/2016 09:08 | Hope you're right EH9. As you say, the story remains great in any event | le4r
07/12/2016 08:54 | I also have been a ftse ir director. This sounds like a leak of a deal that was not planned for signature this week so I am not concerned yesterday's non exec purchase precludes this being paysafe. They would have cleared it with the Fsa listing regs anyway. And then there is the Barclays 620p price target. They will have done recent due diligence on paysafe and concluded that there is 75% upside.... | eh9
07/12/2016 08:49 | Re discussions on chairman purchase, I'm with redlee. I used to work in the IR side of a main market investment company - different space, admittedly- but there's no way that our chairman would have been buying shares if any potential takeover was on the cards... just too close to the wind... | le4r
07/12/2016 08:48 | Thanks EH9. No doubt JL will get questioned on this tomorrow | redlee
07/12/2016 08:39 | Plus chair is non exec chair so not involved in the price negotiations | eh9
07/12/2016 08:39 | Redlee - easily as nothing signed | eh9
07/12/2016 08:38 | Sage quoted as wanting to focus on the enterprise software and rumoured to want to bid for an oracle business so would value the cash quickly from paysafe as well as the longer term partnership | eh9
07/12/2016 08:37 | Could they be "looking at it" seriously already though if teh chairman has only just bought last week? Could be some time | redlee
07/12/2016 08:34 | Thanks. Non core for Sage I feel.Would be a nice buy for Pays. | nurdin
07/12/2016 08:29 | Synergies in terms of continuing to work with sage as a partner to give whole service and client database to market payments | eh9
07/12/2016 08:29 | £157m revenues in 2016, growth issues (single digit, but so was skrill pre acqn) | eh9
07/12/2016 08:28 | I do not know the SAGE US business but here do they not specialise in small business? That would mean it could be a nice fit in with the GOLO strategy. | ralphmalph
07/12/2016 08:28 | Plus Nasdaq listing would then make sense given scale in NA and India would be ready to transfer everything onto paysafe's new low cost high capability platform | eh9
07/12/2016 08:25 | EH9..How big is the Sage payment division,any idea? | nurdin
07/12/2016 08:24 | Added a few more....a bargain here | nurdin
07/12/2016 08:18 | These shorts wanna get off here quick as sage pay NA would be highly accretive from year 1 and could be financed in cash. No rights issue here | eh9 |
