How come, heliweli? The notice today is nice and clear regarding the Chief Financial Officer's transaction. The net result is positive and all is well. I don't see how such transactions would affect the company's drive towards expansion.

Then we will just have to look forward to confirmation of a low PE rating/lower debt on 12 January, followed by upgraded forecasts showing an even lower PE rating and minimal debt by the end of 2017..... (short away, while you can!)

Today's cfo deal was not a price sensitive transaction it was a rejigging just as the ceos was....nothing precludes a deal being announced tomorrow

Not much chance of an acquisition or bid in the near future with all the director wheeling and dealing.

Who knows. They may think the trading statement will not be that good and may increase their short positions. Who knows what their thinking is?

indeed, my money is on PEPM - given the time lag on reporting we won't know for a few days after the event.

..or if shorting.... head for the exits before the markets close for Xmas ahead of the results in Jan 12 and you wind up in a short squeeze - not alot of trading days left

Some big buys and sells by the look of it.If I was shorting these I would start again today to put the damper on the recent strength but they are playing a dangerous game at these levels.

Others say the Asian merchant is 888 so would not get het up about 365

I think that's the important point here. I've always thought that it was reliance on Bet365 for 20% of their revenue that has been holding this back. The market just doesn't like that sort of ratio. As you say c7% would be much more palatable.

The sage acquisition if true is highly affordable with existing debt and would be highly accretive and lead to an £8 target with the Asian merchant down to below 7%

They announced the 12 Jan TS on 8/12.

EH9 - 29 Nov 2016 - 14:41:30 - 4234 of 4679
As I said on Dec 8th they will have the group November YTD results. If nothing said to the market by 10th December then 2016 is in the bag at least as good as promised at the last trading update. There would then be only three weeks trading left and they have a live view of daily revenues

Assuming 2017 is the year of re-rating and we move to a forward PE 15 = round the earning estimate to 50c for 2017 = 750cent=600p ...

verdict: IMHO add/buy/hold .....any bid will at least have to pay that if not a PE of 20/25 if there is competition and there would be ( Ingenico;Wirecard;Worldpay - as the three mostly likely have a bit of animosity in their history and will want to up the price).
