Let's hope this hasn't happened, taken from a Chinese RNS

The board (the “Board”) of directors (the “DirectorsR21;) of the Company wishes to
inform the shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) that on 4 December
2015, a truck of the Group (the “Truck”) loaded with, among other things, all original financial documents of the Group for the four financial years ended 31 December 2014 and for the current year (the “Lost Documents”) were stolen in the Qingyuan District of Baoding City, Hubei Province, China while the truck driver was taking a lunch break on his journey to transport the Lost Documents back to the Group's head office in Beijing (the “Incident̶1;).

5. months slow?No way thats totally unbelievable and if co has told you that then dont believe it imo why would auditors take that long keeping files open it gives bigger cost to them.audit will be slow if director cant prove figures

if there was nothing to worry about though 1savvyinvestor then results wud be out.if audit wont sign them then that is for a reason poss restated 2014 or figures cant be qualified for 2015.if there was nothing wrong then they would be out.Co reassured last year and i think in agm results would not be ever this late and undre promise over deliver was a lot of hot air.for a micro cap it proves accounts are not reliable and prob not to be trusted like the directors imo.Finance director quit after last year late results, will that happen again. Im not sure of the exact wording to use but honesty andstrategy of dIRECTORSneeds imo to be in question, always a silver lining that never turns true.only good thing was large director buy last year.silence from director over results says something wrong h

No I have no idea why so late, lets hope its something minor or queries over Revenue recognition as they now work in far flung places, and nothing serious. I would think the £200k EBITDA is good though or they would have had to RNS?

I believe Results are ''Imminent'' if I dare use that word?

I am hopeful of them this week.......

I agree playful. The results seem to be a long time coming this year for a December year end. There seems to be nothing outlined in any of the statements issued as to when we can expect the results.

He has joined the business already as COO (not CFO as janeann wrote).
the "in due course" comment applies to him becoming a Director

... nor of when the new cfo takes up post; what does 'in due course' mean?

The one nice bit is 'poised for growth' but then it has been there for a couple of years now!

Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Paragon Entertainment Limited (AIM: PEL), the attractions design, production and fit-out business, is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Dobson to the role of Chief Operating Officer. It is expected that John will join the Board of Directors in due course.

John has held various roles in finance with the last 15 years spent as a Managing Director focused on upscaling International manufacturing organisations in the UK, Central Europe and Asia.

John has been a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2002.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Pyrah, CEO of Paragon Entertainment said:

"We are delighted to welcome John to our team. Paragon is poised for growth and John brings extensive international management experience coupled with a keen understanding of finance, both of which will help Paragon realise its full potential."

============================================================================

Lets hope he can pull some trees up DSI! He has experience in Asia. Maybe there could be opportunity to manufacture the bread and butter fixtures destined for Asia etc off shore at much lower labour cost, although that raises quality and other logistical issues? Probably a step too far at this stage.

Still no notification of Results date.
