I was looking at 7Digital, then saw that chump Mickeymouse on the forum ramping it! I ran so fast. It's quite hilarious how he tries to flood this board with negative comments, praying for dear life in the hope that he puts people off. Such a loser.

He does not realise that his one man revenge/ vendetta crusade against elrico, the wizard and TW the aim sheriff has cost him £££££'s in lost money he could have made for himself in investing in OPTI and saved if he had sold out of dud shares that the aforementioned had told him to sell. Some people, well him will never learn.

I did wonder why there was a sudden surge of ramptastic posting on the other thread recently.

Every man to the pumps captain there's a fund raising coming (de-merger ;) )............

Interesting to read the unfiltered posters on the other BB, and their lack of understanding as to what this de-merger entails.

Simply this. Opti need cash and plenty of it. The de-merger is financial engineering. Spin off a cash hungry division and list as a separate entity to provide funding.

Smoke and mirrors.

What I like is that SOH & Opti have paved the way in getting the microbiome story out there and starting the commercialisation. This will make it easier to SkinBio to follow the same path. I expect many of the multinationals and retail outlets will be the same for both companies. Giving Skin a big head start.

Parob,

Thanks for the comment of SOH's ref demerger. I stand corrected. It will be interesting to see what value is ascribed to Skinbiotherapeutics at IPO and how much of the new company is passed to OPTI shareholders and how much the company chooses to retain.

Surely the new bulletin board is going to have to be called "skin in the game". I'll get my coat.

IMO this is going much higher today and tomorrow, and this is just on the skin demerger. Just wait till we hear about distributor deals on our cardio products!

clever strategy as now sellers don't want to sell and risk loosing out on free shares. While others are scrambling to buy in and take a position or add and get more freebies.
Share price has reacted accordingly and broken through the second resistance point.
Just need to close above it, real danger of overheating here now, or sudden price correction whatever your viewpoint.

@owenmo I'm assuming that OPTI remains a major shareholder preserving the value of the Skinbiotix IP on the balance sheet with new IPO customers adding new cash into the venture. Existing OPTI shareholders would be no worse off as OPTI balance sheet would reflect their interest in SkinBio. If OPTI shareholders want to additionally participate in IPO that would be added bonus for them.

Seeing as SOH is the biggest OPTI shareholder (with 13%) I'm sure maximising value for existing holders is his main aim.

rollthedice, you can't just hive-off a star-performer (or potential star-performer), leaving parentco shareholders in the lurch and inviting them to join the queue in buying into the newly floated spin-off on a par with newcomers. One's value in the spin-off will be preserved such that newco shares and diluted value in parentco are as they were. One imagines there are bonuses in the offing if say OPTI parent were to suffer minimal share price diminution in the move, and newco float were to trigger a momentous gain. How good would all of this be? This said, even if to some this may come across as though I know something about these matters, in truth, I do not. As I said earlier, though, SOH's choice of "may" hold shares, I hope, was merely ill-chosen terminology. We can't be disowned of the skinbiotix asset that we have bought into. Not going to happen. All we need to know is opti is nowhere near michaelmouses predicted 40p initial target. I think it is safe to say elrico has taught us all michalemouse has many things to learn about investing. He babbles on about opti market value while ramping trak valuation to £20 on the back of cooked numbers. Wow!!!!

It's non dilutive for opti shareholders. Skin on the other hand will be diluted, just like opti was originally when it was listed by ysf and Seneca. Opti owns 75% this will dilute to the region of 35-40% like Adam Reynolds explained in Xmas interview.Within that 35-40% we will be given free shares in proportion to our holding of opti at a certain date that we are yet to know. In my view this will be 6-12 months following listing to stop people from gaining easy money and destroying skins initial expected growth. In the mean time optibiotix will remain majority shareholder until this date. If skin grows then so will opti in theory as it will own circa 40%Today signals Optis ambition to become a serious player in this new and fast growing space.
