21/3/2017 13:55 | Mickeymouse - How does Opti become LESS valuable? | loungeact
21/3/2017 13:46 | I agree 10-15£m. The key thing is not to overvalue the stock at listing as it will go nowhere.I'm pretty sure soh said if the correct steps were taken over time the ip could be worth £250m. No way that's done in a year. Can see skin being worth £40-50m within a year based on potential and successful human studies. | riskybusiness1
21/3/2017 13:46 | As I've said so many times before, it's a fund raise by any other name. Clearly they need the cash urgently otherwise the sensible thing would be to wait until at least one division was profitable. "The planned Admission of SkinBioTherapeutics brings in non dilutive funding" It's a bit misleading to suggest that it brings in non dilutive funding since OptiBiotix becomes less valuable post the demerger (share price may fall) and you've no idea how the new listing of SkinBioTherapeutics will be received by the market. Imo it's all just financial engineering to raise funds. Smoke and mirrors but good luck if you're a holder. | michaelmouse
21/3/2017 13:45 | 18 patents... The Company, based in the UK, has acquired and subsequently further developed technology and intellectual property comprising 18 patent applications founded on scientific evidence and proof of principle studies. The studies indicate that certain molecules found in the human microbiota can be used to protect, manage and restore the skin. | parob
21/3/2017 13:41 | The skin guys have been beavering away in the background for a while now. I'm sure they will have some significant progress to announce alongside the IPO. (or maybe announce soon after float to give a good start to trading) | someuwin
21/3/2017 13:40 | possibly more if the II is a household name. They will want money for Clinical trials so minimum they would want to raise is £10m IMO | trotterstrading
21/3/2017 13:39 | Don't forget our other divisions, they might split as well at a later date, I am surprised we have not announced a new patent, but I suppose this things take there time! DIAMOND. | diamond fibre
21/3/2017 13:38 | Today's news has come sooner than some of us thought. I wonder if this indicates that treatments etc are closer to production than we are aware of? | rafboy
21/3/2017 13:37 | My Guess is a £10-15m float | trotterstrading
21/3/2017 13:34 | Capitalisation value will be very interesting. I recall SoH saying a year ago skin could be worth £250m in a years time. Not that I expect it to float at anywhere near that level but excited to see where it is valued at. | mouse20
21/3/2017 13:34 | Jeremy Vine show talking about eczema today. Massive unmet market right there for SkinBiotix on that treatment alone. | someuwin
21/3/2017 13:24 | Next few weeks should be very busy on the news front... | parob
21/3/2017 13:22 | My money is on SKBT | bernieboy

21/3/2017 13:18 | Wonder if they'll get the Epic SKIN? | someuwin
21/3/2017 13:12 | Very interested to see what this lists at considering opti bought 75% of the ip for £650k march last year. Potentially sohs finest bit of business | riskybusiness1
21/3/2017 13:09 | Read above posts!I'm pretty sure you'll find the answer there somewhere. | scotty1
21/3/2017 13:07 | Could someone explain please what this spin off means to existing OptiBiotix share holders? | nigelc43
21/3/2017 12:54 | So....soh,s comment 'news in the coming weeks and months' was spot on!! | bobdown2
21/3/2017 12:51 | No worries - Wreckage. | elrico
21/3/2017 12:49 | well 82.3p paid on isdx. target 90p | john henry
21/3/2017 12:48 | Elrico, sorry to have to correct you but the new ISA starts on the 6th April | wreckage
21/3/2017 12:46 | I'm, fortunately, holding a skinful of OPTI shares. Even if not 100% 1:1 (for whatever reason) in the spin-off, a large chunk will do very nicely. Yes the choice of expression (in earlier announcement by SOH) "may" hold shares, seems ill-chosen. | owenmo
21/3/2017 12:45 | Will be very interesting to see what price the shares are valued at. 10p, 20p etc. What will the market cap be at IPO etc....do we expect opti to fall by the same amount and so on. Many questions to be answered in the coming days..... | bernieboy
21/3/2017 12:44 | Sounds good. At least with this company the management tell you what the aims are and then deliver. 'The planned Admission of SkinBioTherapeutics brings in non dilutive funding and creates the opportunity to drive the development and commercialisation of its SkinBiotix(R) technology platform to address large scale global markets in skin health including Cosmetic Skin Care ($121bn); Health Care Acquired Infections ($82bn); and Eczema ($3.8bn)'. I like the non dilutive funding bit - and the huge market - just look at those figures! | bobbyshilling |
