Kerry Smith appointed Chief Financial Officer 
 
 
OCZ Technology Group, Inc. ("OCZ" or "the Group", AIM: OCZ) a worldwide leader 
in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, PC 
components, and system builds, has appointed Kerry Smith as a director and Chief 
Financial Officer with immediate effect.  Mr Smith joined the Group at the start 
of the year as Executive Vice President Corporate Development and General 
Counsel and, given his experience, has played and will continue to play an 
integral part in the Group's preparation to obtain a listing in the US. 
He succeeds Art Knapp, who has stepped down from the Board. 
 
 
Kerry Thomas Smith, age 47, has over twenty years of accounting and legal 
expertise, having worked at international law firms for over 19 years and having 
spent 3 years in accounting positions with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (now 
Deloitte & Touche LLP).  Most recently, Mr Smith was a corporate and securities 
partner with the international law firm of DLA Piper US LLP. He holds a B.S. in 
Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  Kerry will be 
responsible for all finance and administrative related operations at OCZ.

In the previous five years, Mr Smith has been a partner of the law firms 
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and DLA Piper US LLP and was a director of 
BCN Systems, Inc. 
 
 
There is no further information required to be disclosed in respect of the above 
appointment pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for 
Companies.
