There must be plenty of boats or ships depending on the size of your investment trying to find other ports to sail into.....just make sure there are not to many rocks at the entrances so you don't get sunk on the way out..........

tim....nice to see the ol' LOCO for the last time.......

pbo......cheers mate...hope you manage to climb on board another express....although NSB turned out to be a freight train in the end.......but at least full of the "luverlies".......£££££££££££££££

semaj - Too late laddie. It's spoken for by Epicor and now stuck around its take-out price of 38p.

If anyone is interested the info I got from City Index concerning my CFD holdings was that the position would be closed/sold at the offer price of 38p.
However, he said this would be done on the 29th FEB which is along time to wait for the money. (Normal holdings in Peps and nom will get the money much sooner I would hope.)

That's why I took the 37.75 yesterday.

Thanks for the tips. will give them all a read later.

lob - You ask the question (rhetorically at least) od what to buy next.
I am sure you will have heard enough of RCG, GNG etc, also possibly IGP - all AIM stocks so not for an ISA.
A bit different and with a good newsflow, you might like to look at LRL (LEYSHON) which although on AIM, can go into an ISA with most providers on account of its listing on ASX (Oz). No stamp duty is a bonus.

Good broker read on Ambrian and the latest on Minesite as below -

You can push the progress bar along to skip the intro, after which click on the drop-down and select Leyshon.

This thread is full of good people and it will be a shame to see it go.
I am not the worlds best at posting.....sorry.
I have now cleared all my nsb, happy but sad, ( end of an era for me) I thought like many 60 - 75p was min good value....... but in todays market I think we have been lucky.
I have been trading on the ups and downs of AL. and building a steak in BLNX.
Thank you all once again, this board has been unique and a rock.
I can't thank all you regular posters enough, you are very honest and straight.
I will keep an eye on this board and I wish all NSB holders the best for future investing.

LOF, Well done, as I sold too early today and only got 37.50p. Still it has gone to a good home I hope/think, Encore Oil [eo.]so I should make the difference up.

I also have 50% left, nonetheless I'm going to miss you lot one day soon.

Sold a third today @ 37.75 which is all my SB closed.

The finance cost more or less equals the .25p in a months time.

Chance of a counterbid in this market looking slim.

Question is what to buy and when?

Well thats it sold all my holdings today, thought I would take the cash now as you never know whats going to happen with this. I think its a bit late for a counter bid and I don't want to wait until the end of Feb. I feel a bit depressed now after holding these for so long. Good luck to all

Must admit that 38p now looks a much better deal than it did at the time.
There aren't many stocks that are the same price now as three weeks ago!
I have been selling off gradually as better and better bargains appear - trying to pace myself. Some of my early reinvestments are looking a bit sick, but no worry as I think they're good for the long term.
Nobody knows when the market bottom will be reached, still less where. I will just steadily add and try not to hurry. However, that said, some of the silly bargains won't last [MrDynevor - a mild suggestion, not a criticism of waiting for it to settle down] even if the market generally stays low or lower for a year or two. It's just a question of having the knowledge and nerve to pick them up.

Good luck to all and I hope none of you were seriously burnt in the past two days.
