My best performing share by a long way! Pleased that I have resisted selling as looks to be some terrific bargins once the market has settled down.

I got my papers...yesterday! My fault, because I'd neglected to tell Capita when I moved and it was only because the people who bought the old house kindly brought some post up that I received them even now. I haven't bothered to read them at this late stage.

I guess we have an answer to one question. Why didn't we list on the American market? the pros being a valuation probably in the 50/60p range in comparison to similar US companies & the against being cost (which was relatively small). In hindsight I suspect the NSB board were well aware that the US authorities would not allow the goings on & manipulations that have taken place.

I would think if sufficient people complained that they were not given the opportunity to vote, and therefore the procedure not compliant with adequate notice to shareholders, the court may not approve it, however they will not complain, and no governing body is monitoring the procedure.

3 more buy RNS today. Even at 38p, paid in a months time it works out at little more than 4% return on their buy price. Oh well. win win really.

AO...do you hold in certificated form or nominee....as a nominee holder with Barclays..I did receive 4 seperate letters with regard to 4 seperate accounts holding NSB shares.....and although it was at very short notice....the next day was the requirement to phone them...Barclays that is ...to cast a vote....I didn't in the end as that day of receiving those letters and the next day I completely sold all my NSB shares..... If you were in certificated form I would have thought the Registrars should have sent you the forms for voting.......rather stinks doesn't it.....get as many not to vote and their percentage for acceptance goes up... 98% plus by the look of it.....my lot that I sold would have made no difference what so ever .....lol.....

So it's over the first two hurdles - http://www.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1200494749&article=24236436&symbol=L%5ENSB I remain unclear as to whether a higher offer could still be made. The Scheme still requires two further Court approvals. Would a higher offer be deemed by the Court to be a material change of circumstances causing it to withhold approval so that the scheme could not then proceed?

If someone is buying over 38p, it's either to cover a short position or there is a rumour doing the rounds. Anyway, tomorrow we can assume the company meeting will vote it through and after that it's up to the Court with a slightly higher hurdle. Suppose you could call it in-jury time. (Apols for the mixed metaphor.)
