Surprised that it is very quiet on this board after such a good rise today... anyone have any thoughts as to where they may be going? Could we break the 2p?

Only 39.92m shares in issue and market cap of £0.65m! If the interest continues it could be a very good day...

Morning all just doing a bit of looking round, its difficult to say what will happen here, if we all had hindsight we would all be rich, the best we can hope for is our own instincts.

So the fact the directors are prepared to fund the company would say to me they are hoping to ride out the diamond storm. With a further GBP100,000 on the cards which would take then to around the end of the year working on the basses that GBP145,000 lasted 5 months. In March 2004 they re-equipped the mine with modern equipment to the value of £2mln. Hence I would say the Directors see value here otherwise why risk £245K of your own cash if the company went under. Yes there is a really risk that may happen but I believe they are looking for a buyer. and that will happen when the diamond market recovers which looks to be slowly happening .

World diamond body acknowledges 'some' recovery
STAFF WRITER

In what could be an early sign of recovery for Botswana's diamond industry and the economy at large, diamond prices and sales appear to be stabilising with consumers slowly coming back on board, says the President of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), Avi Paz.

QUIN, exactly, i feel this has life left in it otherwise the directors wouldn't bother and recently as FD said diamond companied have been making good recoveries, hopefully this could be the next... Looking back can't see any bad news... drilling reports seem ok. One to watch.

Hi all so I jumped in only 75K as there is uncertainty but you never know the directors are funding this until they sell? Will do a little more research to see if I need to add more.

his article from lse site may be of interest:

Market cap £400k. One assumes management have an option in mind for recovery hence the willingess to support the business. We will see.

A sum of GBP145,000 has been advanced to the Company by certain Directors (the

"Financing"). The GBP145,000 received by the Company will be sufficient to fund

its cash needs through to July 2009. These advances are unsecured and interest

free. The Directors of the Company who have not participated in providing this

Financing, namely Tony Carlton, Donald Sutherland and Oliver Plummer, ("the

Independent Directors") have authorised the Company to accept up to a further

GBP100,000 on the same basis.

The directors seem to be funding the company atm to keep it going but why do that if it's a dead duck? There must be mileage in putting their own money in or it would be throwing it away and also they hit there 52week low today on no news just a few trades. Again i wouldn't put your life savings on it but probably worth a few hundred. Yes it has risk involved but the upside could be significant...
