Ah that sounds better, I wondered why it hadn't affected things yesterday.

wi looks as though it could be a rollover with the slight price difference and time in between trades.

Unless those were late in being recorded the mm's shouldn't be short tomorrow.

With that size (and others) they may have already maxed out their internal risk limits for this size stock hence allowing no more bets. Good luck anyway, you could be on for a few quid here with the right news!

yes nearly £10k a point. On spreadbet.

Just counted - 41 trades over a period of time.

Half a penny out of the money.

Probably take another 41 trades and a week to get out!

true - but buying £7 of shares at a go...dealing charges must be greater!

willessa - £10k/pp?

given the limits here, I'm amazed you got up to that level...IG would struggle if you were to close that in one go

I have nearly 1 million with IG and so cannot trade, only sell. So it could well be helping to reduce volatility.

Normally they'll require a minimum of £10m market cap to offer a stock and this is well above that. I think they're just not able to offer it in any decent size basis the quoted spread...the MM's invariably price the stock at whatever price they like, regardless of the quoted spread, as has been highlighted on this board several times. If IG can't offer it size, at a reliable price, they don't make any money and therefore it's pointless for them to offer it.

Interesting - just tried to open a s/bet with IG and got the "closing only" message, which I thought was because they've reached their 2%/3% limit.

However, speaking to them their risk department have deemed MIN as an illiquid stock and as such they are seeking to remove this from their portfolio of tradable equities...as clients close existing positions they will not be able to re-open them

might reduce some volatility

wi yep i think it's a bit of both with the mms ie short and holding on tight for the forth coming deals, looks like you can buy sod all again this morn online, unless you want to pay a premium for decent quantity ;)

For some reason they are holding on tight or they are just short of shares. They dropped the price sharply but still wanted to buy and as for selling any to pi's, well for long periods the most you could pick up was 100! They were very keen to buy more so this morning anything up to 150K, once I saw 7p on offer, says a lot to me but maybe just a ruse to fool us all.
But IMHO Actions speak louder than words and it been like this for a number of days/poss weeks now. Their actions are telling me to hold tight, and wait for (??presumably)the sale of the T&L business to complete or have they an insight into the CS project progress?? As always they seem to be the ones who hear first and their actions suggest something positive will happen soon.
