They are issuing 238 million new shares for the 6.5 billion dollar equity payment to existing HPE shareholders. This equates to $26.47 per share or at £1 - $1.33 = £19.9. That's just the price paid for HPE not including the $2.5 billion of debt.

I think the company is undervalued by some margin right now. a) - there appears to be a dividend just prior to completion of all 'spare change' of $1.68 b) "Micro Focus intends to continue its stated dividend policy of distributions equal to approximately half of adjusted net income" and c) this will be the biggest software company in the FTSE100. d) it will trade also on the NYSE

Forget about the FTSE-100...
Sky News reports MCRO to undertake a reverse take-over of HP's Software business.
Apparently to be announced later this evening in New York.
HPs software business said to be valued at £7bn.
DYOR ... you never know with this kind of stuff!

The 100 trackers looks like they are saying let the 250 trackers sell and we will pick them up cheaper if we stay out the market.

They have sold already, the big boys will step in. Talk of £1.20 to dollar coming, if that happened I see 2450p.
