16/8/2014 18:32 | Last year there was a £2.5m loss in H1 and £7m profit in H2. So that helps make sense of the numbers. When you factor in H1 this year, assume same H2 growth and then add back the interest saving and back out the IPO costs. Maybe factor in some growth. It kind of adds up. Sort of. | chizgreen68
16/8/2014 10:41 | They have more than halved borrowings by £50m post IPO, the accounts show a reduction of £3.4m in interest payments. There will also be benefits as outlined by philanderer, but I cant find anything that will quantify those. | chizgreen68
16/8/2014 09:18 | spob , doesn`t the 6.2m ipo costs come off those H1 numbers ? Agree , still a fair jump then to £22.5m total but there`s more oulets and conversions for the final year number ? | philanderer
15/8/2014 12:45 | and yes i have heard of something called christmas but still that would be some jump what is the reason ? | spob
15/8/2014 12:41 | Just browsing here I see these made an adjusted pre tax profit of £2.2m in the first half. Can someone explain to me how they are going to do a forecast £22.5m for the full year, or to put it another way ... How are they going to jump from £2.2m in H1 to £20.3m in H2 ? | spob
15/8/2014 09:12 | Stranger and stranger , one trade today so far , an AT buy for four shares at 186.75p | philanderer
12/8/2014 12:18 | I know you can trade inside the quote but the latest spread 175p - 185p is just very weird, with only 25k traded tioday so far. | philanderer
08/8/2014 13:59 | Consolidation around here would be good .... 700k buys @ 183p earlier this week and only dropping on small volume. I`m pretty confident with this one. Fingers crossed. | philanderer
08/8/2014 12:24 | Yeah, will need a big push to shoot past ATH. My guess is that shortly the stock market will recover a bit and start to move forward strongly up to Xmas. We're almost past the summer blues IMO and hopefully MCLS will be over £2 come end of year. We are still in the era of cheap money. | hydrus
08/8/2014 12:09 | Right on that 180p support again. | philanderer
06/8/2014 13:54 | Whoosh.... that didn`t last long, just a couple of sales and back down to earth. 175p - 183p edit: closing 180.25p - 184p | philanderer
04/8/2014 16:55 | 400k and 300k @ 183p getting us going this afternoon. And the late 5000 @ 195.31p is the best price since the IPO 190.25p - 194p close | philanderer
01/8/2014 17:25 | Strong end to the day with a few buys at 185p | philanderer
31/7/2014 17:01 | Still finding it hard to break out from this 180p area. A poor general market day though. Closing quote: 178.75 - 180 | philanderer
30/7/2014 18:48 | could see mcls taking market share from the co-op, opened up higher on ex divi day also. | rolo7
30/7/2014 10:08 | Looks promising, Lord Lee is invested in these and I respect his investment approach. | hydrus
30/7/2014 09:01 | Morning Chizgreen, luck with those. MCLS going xd for the 1.7p dividend this morning. | philanderer

29/7/2014 16:22 | 500 AT buy @ 183p is the best trade for a long while. | philanderer
29/7/2014 14:08 | Aldi just taken over number 6 spot from Waitrose (announced this morning ) - shoppers leaving the big boys and going to discounters and local convenience stores. | philanderer
29/7/2014 12:58 | Fair point philander - after I posted I had another look and chart and realised what you meant. | hydrus
29/7/2014 12:13 | Hydrus, I was just looking at the chart and it had a couple of goes at that 180p early april. Hopefully this time we`ll push up through :-) | philanderer
28/7/2014 16:43 | Why is there a ceiling at 180p? | hydrus
28/7/2014 12:09 | We`ve hit that 180p ceiling ;-) | philanderer |
