Depends on what Ashcroft has planned? If it goes private, its highly doubtful a payback above the 0.75 transaction. But it could be between 0 and 0.75 a.i.h.o

We'll see, weekends here, outdoors beckon as suns out, skies blue, bit of dust in it, but hey you can't have everything.

Glad I cut my losses here at 0.42p and at 0.43p. It was the news of the placing that made me buy these @0.52p.

told you .41p would look like a great trade in the coming weeks.
cannot see anyone getting a penny for any stock they own let alone the placing price. im afraid it looks like you've done your money because they've turned you over. all imho.

Someone on LSE has just raised the issue of trading MVW stock on PLUS - could this continue if the company is deleted from the FTSE AIM? My understanding is that MVW is not listed on PLUS, but I might be wrong. Another one for Mr Skinner!

The issue is not having a free float of more than 15% and is not one of if a 90% stake is held.

I hope that you manage to sort something out here.

Won't Ashcroft need to hold 95% of shares to take the company private? He's currently got 87%. The notification states that MVW will be delisted Wednesday 21st - that's 2 days to sort this out. Charles Skinner better issue an RNS first thing or I'll be calling round in person!

To be honest I have not come across this situation before but an AIM listing requirement is to have a free float i.e. shares not controlled by directors, key partners etc of greater than 15% and the placement of stock has resulted in a free float of less than 15%.

As I say you really need to take advice ASAP and I hope it works out OK for you. I just happened to have this on my watch list for some reason but do not hold and so have no need to dig any further.

Further to the corporate action Geraldton will control over 85% of the shares in issue, makeing the free foat less than 15%.

If I held I would discuss the implications of this with my broker and or the company nomad first thing on Monday.

Comedy:hope u are okay.uen,eneg came out very good.only mvw and eneg now.looks like both is good hold time being.
For long term mvw holders it will ve very good.

Comedy I don't mind negative views keep me from buying too many lol. Aim is $hite, but whatever markets risky shares always get most knocks, but thats where rewards are big; so i'm comfortable seeing positions halve or more if i have to tough it out.

One over the pond i post on ADVFN because it was a good tip from the EEL debacle is Mart, dodgy as anything a few months back got sold to lows around 5c, everyone predicting gloom and good chance could have been shafted there, after all nice safe Nigerian oil play despite its TSX listing, few months later its just touched 30c! he who dares...sometimes wins/loses, caveat emptor etc.

Time to be patient here.

humbugg the whole of aim is a roulette and you cant make it up...here was up £30kish when we hit last big spike up....last week ohm doubles after placing...yesterday uen hits out with funding and from 2 weeks back is up 133%(when insiders were getting in)...here we get placing at a higher level and are lower than placing price...echoes of ohm last october when placing done over 20p and we kept going down... efd last week at 1.85p on thursday and friday hit a peak of 2.9p...

ppa we are finally producing and share price heads south...the list is endless...and seems like just when you think it is dead news hit and it jumps.

here too many shares so will just wait out and see what happens...a new asset??? or kick in the teeth?? all will come out over time so will just hold and see. gl

this is no ENEG/PPA or MWA. this is all but bust, a loss-making business and huge debts, gerald has effectively swapped the company for its loan, now watch them take it private. who can stop them. all imho.

Possibly, has crossed my mind tbh humbugg. Never invest more than can afford to lose in any share is always good advice. But i'm always happy taking risks with those unloved. Bought ENEG at 9.75 few weeks back, was about the worst performing oiler when i looked, same goes with MWA last year at 4/5p and as you know PPA at 0.29/0.34, again plenty who bought higher think thats a dog today. Trade in and out of CNR every predictable spike. Always bought when people knocking.

So all down to risk appetite,AIM's full of rubbish so don't hold many here now, TSX and other exchanges far better and as i'm due a loser, this might be it. But i'll wait all the same. G.L

EDIT: Hako and big thanks for encouragement in ENEG, got 150k now, may go to 200, see what else pops.

guys dont despair,this will come very good,we have been in eneg for last 6 months and 2 weeks ago we were down 60k today one point we were almost breakeven one point.so need abit of patience in here.
