In news overnight he was suggesting the FTSE is going to tank 80% [YoY?]. The writer then pointed out his fund hasn't reported a profit since inception in 2014. Desperation time for an ultra-bear... | phoenixw2
03/11/2016 08:47 | 5.28% Shorts getting there fingers burnt today.What a shame. | garycook
03/11/2016 08:43 | Very nice.I did assume 80 cents or 60p,back on Sep 2.When the GBP/USD was 1.33.So 75 cents or around 60.75p at today,s GBP/USD rate of 1.2345.That gives a yield of around 9.3% on current 2016 dividends on the share price of 774. | garycook
03/11/2016 08:33 | Hi phoenix try this | stpalm

02/11/2016 08:59 | For sure. Last time I checked Woodford held just over 15%. Combined with BRock these holdings would make a solid 25.x% launch platform to add to whatever a predator might themselves be building up in the background. I expect the fund managers are well aware of that. So the stock is a rewarding one in it's right, and has potential as a take-over target. - If anyone has access to the 'notifiable positions' in LRE, who if anyone is currently a material short? | phoenixw2
