30/6/2011 08:34 | DONT KNOW WHY THIS ISNT SHOWING ON ADVFN....... Trading Statement Kiotech International Plc KIOTECH INTERNATIONAL PLC ("Kiotech" or "the Company") Kiotech International plc, the international supplier of natural high performance feed additives to enhance growth, health and sustainability in agriculture and aquaculture, is holding its AGM later today, at which Richard Rose, Chairman, will make the following comments on the business. "At the time of the Preliminary Announcement in April I commented that we had made a solid start to the year. I am pleased to report that this has been maintained and that we are performing in line with market expectations. Profitability is running well ahead of the same period last year reflecting the full benefits of the integration of Optivite. The Agil export administration function has been transferred to Manton Wood and we have now closed the Aldermaston office, which will either be sold or let in due course. Our Chinese subsidiary has had some recent success with sales of Genex®, a performance enhancing acid and essential oil combination, to a number of the leading feed mills. New products have been launched across both trading brands and we are encouraged by the progress being made in Brazil following a visit to the Manton Wood plant by our distributor." | spekky
29/6/2011 13:36 | I would think that is going to be welcome news for UK pork producers and anyone who supplies that industry.KIO should do very well out of it imho.... | spekky
23/6/2011 13:21 | Here's the answer.... Off topic....I never thought PIGS could be a source of so much financial gloom and doom ;-) | spekky
16/6/2011 16:41 | RNSs' out,Amati reduced by 562k with Artemis taking half (281k) to increase their holding.Who took the other 281k ?????? | spekky
14/6/2011 19:18 | It would be considerably more exciting if it was Bayer taking a stake.I'm convinced the previous relationship is back up and running.I think they know that Aquatice is great technology. Its only a matter of time IMHO........ | spekky
14/6/2011 17:39 | I hope it is another buyback, im happy for them to use co funds to do this, and it is at a similar level to the last one. | davydoo
14/6/2011 15:20 | I wonder if KIO have been buying their own shares again. It can't be a director sell 'cos none of them have that many.Seems likely an RNS will follow soon IMHO. | spekky
09/6/2011 18:47 | What is going on with this share price over paltry sells?????.... | tailgunner2
08/6/2011 20:07 | Thanks spekky | davydoo
08/6/2011 15:17 | Looks like a winner to me. | spekky
30/5/2011 09:15 | davydoo Thanks for that,I'm glad I dont eat much fish.......worrying over-use of antibiotics IMHO.However it does illustrate that the old saying "plenty more fish in the sea" is simply not true any more. | spekky
29/5/2011 20:20 | some interesting background on aquaculutre in asia | davydoo
27/5/2011 16:23 | Some bloody strange share price movements with this....1500 sell and shows over 3p down???...just what is happening???? | tailgunner2
25/5/2011 14:11 | Hmmmmmm. I'd be happier to hear a little less about 'acquisition' and more about building sales. And if only Richard Edwards was a little less ginger and a lot more grey! | beardmore
25/5/2011 13:41 | davydoo Your absolutely right,just checked back,ignore me, I'm having a "senior moment". | spekky
25/5/2011 13:35 | This was in the annual results As no one has left and no one has joined not sure an RNS is warranted. | davydoo
25/5/2011 13:19 | Just back off hols,am I mistaken? Surely changes at board level need to be RNS'd.....dont they? | spekky
18/5/2011 10:24 | Yes,its definately a frustrating one to hold..... :( | spekky
17/5/2011 14:06 | Have to agree seems to be deliberately walked down. We don't need funds, so fund raising highly unlikely. Which leaves .anker mm's or serious attempt to purchase a lot of shares as cheap as possible. | ljsquash
13/5/2011 17:45 | This is now in my "Get Well Soon" Portfolio. | beardmore
13/5/2011 14:49 | Back to where we were at the start of the year......my live screen is showing me that a 43 sell made it drop 3.90p????????...... | tailgunner2
11/5/2011 14:54 | been away a bit - nice to see such good results - will dig out the company refs sheet at the w/end and report back. :-)) | fegga
10/5/2011 15:31 | Although KIO doesn't have any presence in the USA there's obviously a great opportunity for their probiotic approach to animal feeds. | spekky
10/5/2011 15:24 | More new products launched recently........ ;-) | spekky
27/4/2011 16:05 | Thank you the_hedge. Intellectual property rights I had assumed. It seems to me an investor has to decide : 1. What is the likelihood of KIO's products being copied ; 2. What is the likelihood of KIO being able to protect its intellectual property in the jurisdictions in which they intend to operate. Would welcome your and others views. | zutalors |
