I think that Janet Yellen’s speech, yesterday, took the shine off commodities. Higher interest rates, stronger US$. Not that that should be a worry in reality, the first time that they start raising rates in years and miners put in their best performance in years.

As for the strike, I think that the effect on the price of copper either up or down will be short lived. The lack of output may well compound any shortages down the line. It’s probably put as much pressure on the mining sector from the point of view that today it’s them, tomorrow it might be us. A lack of output is a costly affair and the sector will be hoping for swift resolution.

Well I traded out today for 68% so I am very happy with that now the profit is in the can. I would love to hold but I would of banked if it reversed to say 550p in the next week which would be just my luck. Looking to get back in soon if it does dip. Well done to long term holders here for your patience if you have just recently moved back into profit. This could go much higher in the long term imo.

Copper down to 2.73 when Kaz closed yet Kaz closed up which was a strong performance.Eight days to the results so hopefully if copper continues above the 2.7 mark then we should break £6 share price Going into the results at £6 would be very interesting.

Not surprised... let them clear so we can move towards 800.It does need to correct and consolidate before another leg up... wouldn't be surprised if we get a retrace.

l prefer trading stocks that pay a dividend in my view just in case you get stuck for a little while. Good luck!

This isnt a trading stock as it is impossible to pick the direction on any given day. Just buy and hold.....

If 600p is broken and held then next stop 800p.
