cricket - that circa 400 mill will be US$ - even so Morning Star show Dec 2013 year-end NAV of 160.56p, which will be after some downward adjustments, I think.

From memory the interims to June 2014 show NAV of over $450m......it's all on their website.

It was basically priced to go under at 12.5p,at 30p it 's still priced to fai.
This is one of those situations where the market has got the price horrendously wrong.
The net assets, i believe are circa 400 mill. This could easily double from here!

Best ask now 30.25p...only 8541 shrs for that.

yes the buyer let it slip back to 21.5p on Friday, before stepping in big time to take it to intra day high of 30p..looks like the buyer is not hanging around today, that gap up to 39p looks very likely.

Good news from the court (released coincidentally about an hour before Proxima Capital's Rns).

The Kyiv Appeal Administrative Court on 05-02-2015 found in favour of private gas producers (including JKX).
In dismissing the Governments appeal, the court upheld the previous ruling by the Kyiv District Administrative Court of 16-12-2014 that the Cabinet’s law, which gave Naftogaz a monopoly of supply of gas to the top 168 industrial users, was unlawful.

It will be interesting to see how quickly it takes to normalise the gas market and recover production levels. The eventual increase in production and cash flow should be reflected in the shareprice (with or without the interest of take-over bidders).

Take a look at the one year and 5 year graphs for the share price on this one - I don't think that too many will be ready to throw in the towel to a bid uder 60p !!
