02/6/2010 16:43 | If you bother to read or listen to the news in regards to the enquiry The report is not about who is to blame for accident but why it happened and to make sure it does not happen again. We where totally stitched up and yes it could be a good out for Network rail if Jarvis no longer existed. But at the end of the day we where told we had sufficent funds to last us till next year. We also had got enough workload with Evergreen to carry us through. So in my oppinion we where lied to and should be able to make representation to somebody in this regard | belhus
02/6/2010 10:45 | jj Correct I think Network Rail, fully supported by a goverment supposedly striving to maintain employment levels, wanted it to look as though they had cut the real culprit loose to save a bit of face and, of course, have no comebacks from Jarvis. | peaeff
01/6/2010 20:43 | Ref my post 7572 perhaps it was the prospect of the enquiry and its findings that made the directors throw in the towel so suddenly the company had no future we should have seen it coming ! | jarjar

23/5/2010 21:49 | Well if has nothing to lose, I would presume that indicates he does not hold anything else. I just hope Norris is busy in the background sorting something out, as this has been a result of the labour prty imho pulling jrvs in before the conservatives start dishing the work out to the private companies away from the state owned monopolies. Questions need answering. dyro regards active | srpactive
23/5/2010 12:59 | steve1905 - 21 May'10 - 09:25 - 7593 of 7597 The beauty of seeing jrvs sink and losing 100% of my investment, is that I'm able to sit back and watch the market tumble - safe in the knowledge, I have nothing left to lose. Not bothering to check the share price is quite liberating. Ah freedom. Freedom, another word for nothing left to lose. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Lose much steve? Do you own any other shares. | mallorca 90
23/5/2010 12:47 | there was no equity in this business for years. | undervaluedassets
21/5/2010 13:37 | Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothin' ain't worth nothin' but it's free. We were doin' well with contract wins. We thought that was plain to see. Unfortunately "freedom" came in at £17k for me. That's a lot trucking when you're aged 63. But some like Bobbie will sing the blues. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose. But we ain't sung every song the driver knew..... Yet..... Pass me my bandana. | truckertee

20/5/2010 21:28 | I am afraid Jarvis had no friends after the rail disaster which did not help us when the chips were down | jarjar

18/5/2010 16:36 | SRP Did you lose much here? | mallorca 90
14/5/2010 20:07 | quite right but I feel many mp's families and friends buy shares with loop gossip. Which address can you find them at? Knowing you lost money does not make me feel any better, worse if anything as knowing negative posters got caught is bad. I do not like to hear anyone losing money. I have lost enough to make everyone feel rubbish, but you pays your money. regards active | srpactive
14/5/2010 08:13 | Not a case of being negative on Jarvis or not. If it makes you feel any better I was long a few as well at the end although not enough to make me lose any sleep. Easy enough for any of us to send letters emails to these people. Don't be lazy. Chances of somebody on here being "in the loop" enough to pick up phone and have a friendly chat it pretty slim. | yuka
13/5/2010 20:28 | yuka You seem to have correctly been negative on jrvs for a while, I am not in the westminster loop unfortunately or I would, because as deloitte have stated all that is needed is funding around £20m. regards active | srpactive |
