20/4/2010 14:53 | and more reading the last line, lloyds our bank, and deutsche bank the mm's that was on the bid all the while ensuring the share price did not rise, this all really needs looking into, I hope you are reading Mr Norris as you/ we have been stitched up due to politics. | srpactive
20/4/2010 12:26 | stepin I meant read around that time for a few yrs. Deloitte will take a while to get buyers at the right price, why fire sale, no need at all, especially if the banks want a decent price and money back. Especially if the backs have plenty of money due to propping up their balance sheets. dyor regards active | srpactive
20/4/2010 10:53 | few yrs.. Srpactive.. time is somethink we dont have... its been quite on the Deloitte front ... so lets see what happens.. | stepin1
20/4/2010 09:52 | Yes ed quite agree, but it has been ruined politically so the government are permitted to expose GS to benefit them, likewise the government needs to be exposed to show they have ruined jrvs to benefit themselves. It will come out one day, and we could be rewarded. Read back on colorvision and the fsa, around 1996 - 7 for a few yrs. dyor regards acitve | srpactive

15/4/2010 08:07 | stepin Just ridiculous the payment from bam should be used to pay the revenue, the pfi division sold at a good price as it is profitable and generating £50m of revenue and then used to pay back burdale in full or part. New banking facility raised via rbs or barc to fund chiltern etc, bring jrvs out of administration and reemply jrvs workers. I read last night that some of the jrvs workers have stated they will work for nothing to help. But deloitte say they cannot due to ni, madness, where is the war spirit. They saved hbos by ensuring lloyds helped out, they stopped lloy buying abbey due to them having a large 20% of the mortgage mkt, but they allowed lloyd to saved hbos and by doing so they now control over 40% of the mortgage mkt. This could be sorted out quickly and correctly for all invloved but the powers that be do not want jrvs and the workforce to survive, but we can rest assured they are helping GREECE out to the tune of £600m ever year now. Now the workers cannot do more the shareholders cannot do more if not contacted but the banks can, a very important rail company should be brought from the brink. dyor regards active | srpactive
14/4/2010 18:24 | DPL for the short term, sell BEFORE drill for good profit did tip it here a few wks back at 5p now 7p being held back by placing flips but should do 9p easy. DYOR | bulgarianpropertydoteudotcom
14/4/2010 15:36 | truckertree Why these dosey politicans do not tell the banks which we own a high % of to put a banking facility in place for jrvs, this ensures the company survives the workers keep there jobs and wealth is not destroyed, fgs. Surely bamnuttall are not just going to watch £4m just vanish, why the heck don't they help tpo arrange funding especially as jrvs can work alongside bam on future work. dyor regards active | srpactive
14/4/2010 13:29 | Reply I got on 09/04/10. Hugh Bayley has asked me to email you the following message in response to your email about Jarvis: Thank you for contacting me about Jarvis. I deplore the redundancies. I want the government's money to be used to pay Jarvis workers to renew track and improve the railway - and not to pay people off for leaving the industry. I tabled an Early Day Motion and spoke in the House of Commons to press Network Rail to maintain the programme of track renewals which were contracted to Jarvis - and for the companies which take on the Jarvis contracts to re-employ Jarvis workers to do it. It is essential to retain the skills of the Jarvis workforce within the rail industry and that means re-employing them quickly. I have met the Minister for Yorkshire, Rosie Winterton twice, and senior civil servants from the Department for Transport and the Department for Business and Skills to press for action. Rosie Winterton is working hard to deliver answers. I have written to the Transport Secretary, Lord Adonis, twice since the announcement. I hope he will agree to meet me because I would like to discuss what Network Rail are doing to get other civil engineering companies to take on Jarvis staff. I also attended the York Rail Academy where the redundant workers are getting support and advice funded by the government about how to get new work. It is a personal catastrophe to be made redundant. I am willing to meet any of my constituents who are in this position to discuss what else I can do to help. Although the general election campaign has started, I will continue to do what I can to help any constituents who have been affected. Please contact my office in the normal way if there is anything you think I might be able to do to help. Yours sincerely, Hugh Bayley MP If you need to contact me once Parliament is dissolved, my Parliamentary email will cease to exist. You can therefore contact me at: hughbayley@live.co.u Lesley Dellagana Office Manager - Hugh Bayley MP Tel. 01904-623713 I sincerely hope they can help the laid off workers-I've been there myself- but once again the shareholders get shafted. | truckertee
14/4/2010 13:25 | Not a word from the company about this debacle. If this was Japan, they'd be on the telly begging our forgiveness for their worthless lives etc. | truckertee |
