21/5/2011 21:16 | Should hover around 11p for the next few weeks, then IMHO depending on approval should go to around 16-20p, if there is no approval then it will go back down to 4-5p | dj smith
21/5/2011 10:47 | They have 58% of shareholders in favour of the deal, which are Artoka 41% + Dessengranle 6% + directors etc. That excludes Hoyer with 23% who are not in favour because I believe they had ambitions of their own to takeover Interbulk one day. I wonder if that was why the deal was pitched at a huge premiun to the current price (before the deal was announced). Any opinion if this would trade above 11p once the deal has finalised? | rathkum
21/5/2011 09:40 | The following part of the Return is interesting, from current trading and future prospects: Interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2011 are expected to be in line with expectations. The chemical industry remains buoyant and the Company has seen the recovery in its activity levels maintained into the first half of the financial year which is expected to result in a strong revenue growth compared to the prior period. The Company had anticipated a slow recovery in the operating margins, however, with the backdrop of large increases in the transportation cost base for road, rail and sea (including rising fuel prices), this recovery has yet to be achieved. The effect of this has been more prevalent in Europe, with a greater impact on the Dry Bulk division than the Liquid Bulk division, which has a much greater proportion of sales outside Europe. As expected, the Company has secured a material saving in its interest expense from more favourable LIBOR rates as the old interest rate swap agreements expired. As a result, profit before tax is expected to show strong growth compared to the prior period. | tomoslewis

20/5/2011 21:13 | Just spotted this, excellent placing. But only just stratches the surface of the huge debt. Kubio - remember to remove intangible assets including Goodwill when calculating NAV. The net tangible asset value is very roughly -20p per share after today's news. | bozzy_s
20/5/2011 14:07 | DPOINT, if I can read right, the NAV Per Share is 20.36p, so buying at 11p seams a pretty good deal to me?.... no? | kubio

02/10/2009 15:26 | Heartened by the trading statement and now the director buying. I can see many of the smaller players in the industry falling by the wayside which should be seen positive for the company. If there are no other shockers in the pipeline I can see this stock moving towards the 7/8p range next year unless Artoka decides to part with their 40% holding to maybe Norbert Dess... | rathkum
