16/1/2017 15:02 | Check out SHOE guys for a divi coming and no debt | linton5
16/1/2017 13:12 | Dusseldorf, regardless of adjustment the short is down the dividend amount as that money will be taken from your account. Obviously not an issue if the short is at a much higher price as it's effectively covered . | smurfy2001
16/1/2017 13:09 | Woodhawk - not really, when a stock goes ex-divi on short, the position 'opening' value gets adjusted by the divi amount. As such you'd expect the impact to be flat if divi is 9p and price falls by 9p. In effect the divi is already price in market valuation so we will (in theory) see a fall equivalent to it when we go ex. if the price rises after the ex-date, the pressure on shorts will be resumed. | dusseldorf
16/1/2017 12:58 | Pressure mounting on the shorts as it's ex-divi next week too, they'll have to pay for that if they're still holding. | woodhawk
16/1/2017 10:20 | Looking good now for the break higher and will be well supported down below now between 520-525p. A break of 550p will really put the squeeze on the late shorts and it could pop higher again. | thepunter
16/1/2017 09:30 | Wish i'd doubled my holding when l first bought oh well still make an OK profit if l hit my 600p target + dividends. | smurfy2001

13/1/2017 13:36 | Let's see if we get a good run up in the afternoon | tsmith2
13/1/2017 11:04 | After another false break lower yesterday out of the bull flag that started last Friday, we're now trying to break out to the upside (above 531p). This could be the start of the next leg higher, with the target of the flag breakout around 560p. | thepunter
13/1/2017 10:59 | RB I was referring to the steady stream of AT buys at the close. Just like we are seeing now. Looking good. | mister md
12/1/2017 17:05 | Mister MD.....Those after close trades are normally book balancing trades, not buy or sell....most of the times....imho | rb1206
12/1/2017 16:43 | some big buys at close though | mister md
12/1/2017 16:05 | It couldn't break/stay above 532, there is good chance it may go back to visit 500p or lower before make another attempt higher...imho. More sells to buys at moment and making lower lows and lowers highs on intraday. | rb1206
12/1/2017 11:26 | I believe it's 26th January. | woodhawk

11/1/2017 13:21 | thankyou Langy, these wily old companies will find a new revenue stream or diversify to offset margin reduction. I am very positive although new to ig , my instinct tells me to go for it. seems a good discussion board so will follow for moment. | longwell |
