24/2/2017 13:58 | The relevant date for shorters is the ex div date isn't it? Not the dividend payout date. I am not up to speed on the financial calendar for IG i admit, but i thought we had gone past ex-div a few weeks ago? | treenie
24/2/2017 08:07 | is opodio Yoda in disguise? | stoxx67

23/2/2017 21:42 | Who talking to u disco div | opodio
23/2/2017 21:38 | PSNobody listens to the idiot opodio.Read his history and you will see that his MO is:- deramp by constantly posting "profit warning coming"- buy in on a dip and then ramp "bid coming soon"The sad thing is that neither comes to fruition, not a profit warning nor a bid, but the idiot clearly believes he can influence the share price by posting such garbage on a BB.....takes all sorts I suppose.DD | discodave4
23/2/2017 21:33 | Dusseldorf23 Feb '17 - 09:05 - 1225 of 1233 0 0 DiscoDave4 - "Although there is considerable regulatory change on the horizon, it is not expected that any of this will have a material impact in the current financial year." ..read 'current financial year' again and perhaps reflect. I sold out before dividend and plan to stay out at least until April. People invest for 'future' performance, and the guidance on 'current year' simply doesn't cut it for me in terms of certainty hence general uncertainty in share price direction and perhaps why Odey is increasing. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a negative trading update is released when full impact is known. Not saying it would be sufficiently bad to justify a big fall, just that you cannot rule it out. They already alluded to Dubai business being impacted: The Dubai regulator, the DFSA, is in discussions with IG and other stakeholders about the outcome of the review it announced in April 2015 into the offering of highly-leveraged products. Given the current regulatory environment more broadly, IG expect the results of this review to be announced in the near term and to have some impact on its business in the country. Good post dude My target is sub 300p Everyone is looking forward to shorting it when the bad news comes - remember last time it just sank into the big black hole | opodio
23/2/2017 21:31 | Düsseldorf"Also, I'm no expert (and don't claim to be) but Odey can only short if someone is prepared to front up the position - it's 'possible' that Blackrock purchase was negotiated solely to facilitate the extension of a short for Odey - but I'm just guessing...."What?, Odey is increasing his short to try and reduce his losses here, by my calcs last month (if I remember) his average short position was about 675, so imagine he is still underwater. No expert either but Odey can get hold of shares to borrow from numerous nominee accounts.........eve | discodave4
23/2/2017 21:31 | very weak day here Ahead profit warning looms i feel | opodio
23/2/2017 20:09 | DüsseldorfThanks but no need for me to reflect, aware what I quoted and that's it's for this FY. Also aware of what the impact of regulation may (in capitals!) have on next years Rev and eps. Thus happy to be in when this is IMO undervalued and is worth, again IMO, at least £6.Never any guarantees of cause, but happy with the risk to reward here. All the best.DD | discodave4
23/2/2017 13:37 | Highly undervalued. Best in it's class and not dodgy. Divis and capital appreciation to be had | tsmith2
23/2/2017 13:17 | Do we have a date for them | tsmith2
23/2/2017 13:08 | Yes I agree this fall of 50% was unwarranted cannot see this sort of fall in the next figures which I am sure will be in line with guidance. | wskill
23/2/2017 09:55 | "It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a negative trading update is released when full impact is known." That's as may be, but a massive "negative" is already priced-in. The point is the "negative" may well be not as bad as feared (or even non-existent) and the share price will then rocket. In the meantime, I'll continue to pocket the inflated dividends. Oh, and the next dividend payout is next week - I guess there might be some significant buying - even more so if the share price is comparatively low!! | woodhawk

22/2/2017 22:26 | Yep, thinks he can influence the share price for a £1.9 billion company by posting one liners on a BB....don't think it has an IQ.DD | discodave4
22/2/2017 22:25 | ok, dont cry when it tanks because ofprofit warning someone got a sniff of it by the weak share price?? slow down in customer acquisition or very high cost of new MLA system? | opodio
22/2/2017 22:16 | If he thinks his drivel has any effect on anything anywhere his IQ must be in single digits. Why do these morons bother? | woodhawk
22/2/2017 22:09 | OpodioTell me, are you the same person that posted today on the NCC board "one more profit warning to come", then a few hours later once I assume you had bought (at a guess 90p-95p) you were ramping "should bounce to 150", "bid coming soon".Think you also posted not long ago on the AHT board that a profit warning was coming......it's doubled in the last year or so.Your an idiot.Filtered.DD | discodave4

22/2/2017 20:46 | Blackrock tops up with over 13 million shares, last month IG received their licence for their investment service, which is in partnership with Blackrock, in a few weeks the FCA consultation process will have been completed so news soon..............an | discodave4
22/2/2017 16:42 | LOL, it's already fallen massively, due to potential (but in my view extremely unlikely) large drop in profits. | woodhawk |
