26/3/2009 11:49 | Rab, all. I feel for you all. The bottom line is this. No matter what company you trade in, it makes no difference when you are told over the phone. Unless you are an investment company, meeting the company, asking to see accounts etc as a large shareholder, you generally know nothing. They are never able to tell you anything extra other than what is in the public domain. I have lost personally lots of money over the past 10 years through no stop losses, long term holds and basically thinking everything is ok, when its not. Some come good some don't. Because of the above, I have learned a lot and have been able through experience to spot business activities that don;t always seem plausible to the average eye. That's why I alerted those concerned, I could see no reason for taking Credecard out of the company other than to protect the asset. Now that's fine as he can do what he likes really, but the writing was on the wall then and we now all the result. Even though I have never held this stock, for me after years of dilution, years of trading, and years of seeing the stock fall/rise and fall again, I just could not see how its current operations were going to work any longer. You know what I mean, have a go, cut costs and try and make a profit for the business. It seems that was never possible, why I don't know. So he's sold what he can, took out what he can and the rest will be wound down to sod all. IDD cards will be taken into his hands for a fee I'm sure to settle some of the debts. Don't be surprised if one day you'll see a company in its new form, with now debt, with a business making money. For sure Peter Cox is saying he's put this and that money in, yes Peter, so what, you own the effing thing you idiot. Who are you fooling. You've only done that to ensure you remain a creditor and can take the final assets into your hands. As I say its pure business and one must understand, if it was us, we'd probably do the same, look after number 1. | powwow
26/3/2009 11:41 | Snake, Its AIM mate, unlucky. | ted hankey
26/3/2009 11:32 | i can tell you guys that we will not get a penny out of this, Peter rang me and explained the situation, basically nobody came up with a better offer, and if the plc did not delist the tax man would have gone after it, he also said he has put 600k working capitol into idd Ltd and has had to guarantee 2mil. so it's bye bye money it's all gone. 4S | 4shorty
26/3/2009 09:44 | Section 459 of the Companies Act 1985. The most relevant part of the provision states as follows:- "A member of a company may apply to the court... for an order under this Part on the ground that the company's affairs are being or have been conducted in a manner which is unfairly prejudicial to the interests of its members generally or of some part of its members..." [emphasis added; a "member" is simply a shareholder] Does anyone think we have a case - how can someone be allowed to run a company, fail to pay a debt, go into administration and magically buy back the same company at a significant loss to every shareholder? | snake516
