Going concern issues, simple as that.

Without adequate funding in place the auditors cannot sign the accounts off.

Hi CC
the next question is : If IDD supposedly had the accounts in the first place but didn't get them in on time, why the long wait ?

It's simple lozzer, just needs the auditors to sign off the accounts.

Hi 4s
I'm with you about lack of news

I thought that anyone suspended would have to put forward an action plan to the stock exchange that would include a timescale that would show what a company was doing to get itself back in the game

Hi Lozzer, I for one am getting worried about the lack of info coming out of the company, I don't believe in the old addage no news is good news, no news is no news!!!!!

Hi all
I don't know how you all feel but I for one am glad that we've been barred from trading.

I only hope that our Peter takes this breather to take a good look at the business and see what he can lose, as I feel that IDD will struggle mightely to find immediate funding

He'll even struggle in taking IDD private. IMO for future funding he's better off remaining in the public arena

And then you woke up....I don't think it has EVER been that high. I once owned some at 9.5p, which would be nice to see again...

BP
Does "Is ok" mean we're going down, getting more funds, being allowed to trade ?

The statement is a little ambiguous

Thats good to know BP.

It looks like we will be lucky to wave goodbye to our beloved IDD at 1p folks!

Come on fellas - someone must know something about what's going on in the background. Do we have contacts in the auditor's office, or can our traditionally respected posters tap their sources? I know this could take a while, but knowing whether we're going bust or not should be easy to find out?

Indeed Charles.

That would certainly be a start.

Probably when the accounts are signed off to say the company is a going concern

You are right. It was indeed a fortunate turn of events for us to be suspended. I only hope that this luck continues

The biggest luck would be to be named as a prime contractor / prime project manager for the ID programme. I would then eat my humble pie.

Anyone got any custard

Well we can't do anything but sit tight and wait and see.

Thanks snake, we'll certainly do that! These are extraordinary times, each day brings unprecedented headlines...quite remarkable.

I have every faith that we will see a good return on this despite the doom mongers and naysayers. Actually the suspension has protected IDD from a tide of despondency sweeping the market right now, so I am quite pleased in that respect.

Got a polite e-mail from Peter telling me to keep an eye on the RNS. Not able to speak to individual shareholders. As I expected. Loz, you're probably right, but we live in hope..

You're very optimistic to say the least

I would tend to lean towards snake's thoughts. After all, we were supposed to be going to the market for cash just to run the company on a day-to-day basis. Not good

Snake
I woud be very surprised if we got any ID work. Central government would take one look at the books, see how the company was being run and then do a runner

Keep us informed snake on what he has to say. Cheers.
IDD the only share I own that didn't go down today!
