29/3/2017 16:07 | If there's Placing and Rights later this year, don't expect to get much stock in it! It's a golden opportunity to parade the company around the institutions and get a raft of new heavy hitters on board. Any broker worth his salt would be pushing that to the company. Big instis don't like building up hefty stakes in the market because it moves the price against themselves. But if they can get a large slug at a discount to the current share price I think they'll be falling over themselves for the opportunity! Today's share price has all the hallmarks of a big seller either finishing or nearing the end and increasing the sell price limit. | hiddendepths

29/3/2017 15:57 | Terry Hardacre 29 Mar '17 - 15:44 - 17902 of 17904 1 0 Just dipping in, so the point may have been made, but surely it's not the price but the volume that will dictate CA selling; the price has probably been right for them for a while, but this week gave them the chance to offload into a hungry market. Assuming it's true they're selling of course, which seems quite plausible. Indeed and a few timely tweets to wet the appetite. | the big fella
29/3/2017 15:51 | if that happens possible 1:10 I reckon ,we probably will get better terms than the last oo ,only a prediction, dr t looks after his retail shareholders, I just don't see how investors cannot see the potential here, at least the og industry body are backing us | laserdisc
29/3/2017 15:48 | Cinques, (17900), spot on. Equity raise is planned for H2, so AS has said. From what we have been told (or has been implied if you prefer), they intend to fund the EPS using a partner and some debt. Only after that will an equity raise take place. Those are my onions, disagree if you must. But it's not a bad policy to stick with what the man says, and he says H2 for equity. | jacks13

29/3/2017 15:22 | Cinques: My supposition was that CA would not rebalance their books on a 3p rise. If CA have been selling there should be an announcement shortly which will show I am completely wrong, but if I owned CA shares I would sell them as I would not have confidence in CA as an investment vehicle. However, I don't think RB is that sort of investor. For me the potential is eye watering (and more news is "imminent") and I'm holding and will happily participate in a fund raising if as pi's we will be included. | kirkuk
29/3/2017 14:55 | There's stacks of oil here. As I said the other day (and a well known poster disagreed with me), the funding for the EPS followed by the FID for that EPS is needed to get the price up to the 80s. yes, there's a lot of oil in the ground, but at £700mn MCap and no production and not a lot of cash, HUR won't fly north. The next step is EPS. Funding for EPS will probably include some equity, per AS, iirc, so some IIs may be getting their readies ready. | cinques
29/3/2017 14:51 | Kirkuk Selling after a rise of 3p? A 3p rise is possibly not a driver to selling, but what if you suspect that the next CPR is already priced in and otherwise, there will be a shortage of news for a while before a possible fundraise (and you'd like some readies for that), what would you do? | cinques
29/3/2017 14:46 | About two hours ago, someone has tweeted to RB, asking him: "Richard can you confirm that CA are selling into this rising market after you have tweeted the good news?" LoL He hasn't answered (yet). | cinques

29/3/2017 14:38 | However, working in fund management as I do, there are most likely strict guideline limits the fund needs to work to so, so the factors initiating the probable sales are unavoidable. | the big fella
