24/3/2017 16:14 | I dunno about that Topicel ... the whole house voted against Obamacare when they knew the president was going to use his all powerful veto. Just like the debt ceiling so called "panic" a few years ago ... They are just a bluff house and eventually cave in. It's all for show early on .. pathetic posturing | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 15:53 | 3.45 Washington ODR? Ok, will keep an eye on that. Either way the PMs will push on as a close call is just as bad as a Trump loss for the future fiscal Bills he will want to push. Topicel | topicel
24/3/2017 15:44 | Get ready for the smackdown around 9-10p tonight Healthcare Vote Timing: 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm: "Hard No's" Drop To 18 they won't miss any opportunity | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 15:42 | DX US Dollar on the ropes of support , will it break ? | saturdaygirl
24/3/2017 14:10 | There will be plenty who sold into the rise from 270p to 288p DT. Wouldn't you if you'd been involved? We aren't aware of it being one or any big instis funds but just JPM clients. If you were sitting on a spare million and informed of this off-load by Eduardo which was marketed to make money for clients, as we've seen, wouldn't you snaffle some and turn a quick 7-8% churn? Maybe even then short back to 'placing' price when you were done? Easy money as ever if you have the wherewithal and good contacts... Either way it is all irrelevant as PMs will keep motoring into the summer and, speaking of which, what a nice surge in silver just now! If we get $18 back we should see £3 here finally again. 24/3/2017 13:57 | There is no over hang. The placing shares will have been filled - bought at the discount price already. What is odd though is that hoc doesn't move up much on silver moving up.. | dt1010
24/3/2017 12:49 | I think it was supposed to be three days but i'm not sure now with this delay. They will announce it on the news the moment the bill results pass,if they do which i think they will | big fish
24/3/2017 12:48 | how long after does it go to the senate ? | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 12:45 | yes if the house pass you can switch your trade for double whammy | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 12:37 | It all relies on the bill passing the House. I think they will as they will let the Senate take the blame for rejecting it. Passing the buck. I find out soon :-/ | big fish
24/3/2017 12:30 | brave man BF but I can see your logic | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 12:26 | ODR Well i hope so as i bought the dow last night and shorted gold. If I'm wrong I'm screwed LOL. Think it will only be a short dip though. Still holding my HOC as a core holding with no intention of selling yet :-) | big fish
24/3/2017 11:48 | lets see what happens Major - I guarantee you QE4 will come. am 100% certain of it. there is no alternative. | dt1010
24/3/2017 11:37 | DT, the Zimbabwe/Venezuelan stock market would say otherwise. Just because they should drop doesn't mean in the world of QE that it will do so, especially if its in central banks interests to prop it up. Fed may have stopped printing, but China, Japan and the EU haven't and that money will end up in assets somewhere. | majorpain2
24/3/2017 11:13 | Yes .. Eduardo's sale definitely given this stock a short term hangover. | onedayrodders
24/3/2017 11:05 | PMs like QE also... More directly, has Eduardo put a ceiling as well as a floor under the share price here now with his 270p deal? Presumably 10% gains were too difficult to decline for some who took a tranche from JPM. We often here of plenty of shares available to be cleared before we can be 'released' upwards and this retrace does appear to be a similar scenario? Await Monday to see the pattern now I guess. Although longterm it can only be up albeit slower because of the sale. Topicel | topicel
24/3/2017 09:56 | you won't get QE without US recession confirmed and when it is, you;ll get a crash in the markets And that is exactly what bill bonner says on the inside back page of money week mag this week which just dropped through the door | dt1010
24/3/2017 09:46 | There is only one thing that matters to these markets IMO. How much chance is there of more QE???!!! Good news means higher stocks, bad news means more QE which means higher stocks... | majorpain2
24/3/2017 09:14 | Does it not appear to be all about the Obamacare vote in the States as to why everything is on hold? PMs should react well whatever the result, but best if Trump gets stymied by rebel Republican's as the future taxation and spending bills will be much harder to pass... At least that is the current theory. Regardless, as with Yellen's hikes, as pass today will only get people counting the numbers as it will be close and will still conclude later Bills will come under much more scrutiny by Tea-Party types who hate the debt ceiling and the over spends. 24/3/2017 08:20 | Highly doubt this is going anywhere for the minute, Worlds economies are starting to flash big warning signs but its not quite at the stage where people are running for cover yet. You can thank all the free money that has been printed for that. Im still watching EU and China closely, Fake news meet fake economy! | majorpain2
23/3/2017 16:18 | or MAY DT. :)) | goldenshare888
23/3/2017 15:58 | This is all part of a sub 300 consolidation Get through this territory and we are off to 400 by June. | dt1010 |
