Would help if there was an Inmaculada update no matter what anyone here thinks. Just my opinion as an investor. Markets don't like doubts and unclear situations. Not sure why HOC would not want to clear the air!

Two issues pursue HOC, one the mine issue / news etc,relatively smal, the other is that the rate rise is over for now. We have a couple of months to relax. Maybe a thirds, what do the new shareholders do, I don't think they will do much.

This is a fine month ahead for silver. Silver will outperform IMHO.
Will HOC lead or play catch up... Well we have done very well recently.

I'd give it a few trading days. A lot can happen to silver and the markets in 3-4 days. Anyhow I am going on holiday.

I agree with Lauders. This is a 250 company, not on AIM, so a suspended mine operation RNS should be qualified or amended by a follow-up one when the minor is no longer in suspension.

If there is implicit assurances being made to instis then they are breaking the rules of the LSE surely? Level playing field my bottom (just for Stevea) ....

The shares transferred by Eduardo go into the new account holders tomorrow so if there are any pundits who have been under a misapprehension as to what was happening - i.e. not a proper placing as some initially might have thought - then we should see buying on completion to underpin the transaction.

Thank you for the replies. I would also expect an official RNS after issuing one declaring the accident and suspension. It has taken over a month so it must be more complicated than we believe to get things resolved. I cannot believe HOC would NOT announce anything being as they are usually so transparent. It is still something that is casting a shadow over things at HOC and needs to be clarified IMO. They are probably working on all the things that need to be changed and then will issue a release saying "all is well and this is what we have had to do after the inquiry". I would hope so anyway! Just need to tie-up loose ends.

If it wasn't sorted they would have to have revised their guidance for 2017 production because losing 6 weeks of production at Inmaculada would be material at a loss of 2 million oz Ag equiv.

The company is determined not to report further on this issue. ie subject closed ....

Agree it's not worrying the institutions but surely as the suspension was RNS'd they would have to RNS the lifting of the same.

They might have reassured them it will be sorted soon but I doubt it's back on-line yet.

Institutions aren't worried judging by the share price performance, their buying appetite and support for the take up of this 3% offer last week. They have been told the situation privately but not the market - hence no questions by the analysts on this the No 1 issue in the results presentation.

What a week indeed! Up then down but I am still happy as overall I am still up (+) on my last top-up, marginally! I was down quite a lot the week before. Not being a trader that is OK with me. Still haven't managed to check the transcript but will do when I am near a large monitor (not this iPhone screen), but unless I am mistaken there still hasn't been any positive news on the Inmaculada suspension. Is it still in a state of suspension or not? I may have been asleep & missed any news but did notice anything specific about the point in the results.
