25/1/2014 10:59 | So Wigley saw his pay go up by £120,000 while senior management pay increased 70% to £6.5 million... I think Matt has been talking about the wrong GREEDY 10 - it's the existing directors who have been milking the company while leaving shareholders with zlitch! | knigel

25/1/2014 00:52 | Collapsed Yellow Pages publisher hibu lifted chairman's pay Gideon Spanier Published: 24 January 2014 Updated: 11:27, 24 January 2014 Yellow Pages publisher hibu gave a £120,000-a-year salary hike and an extra £10,000 "car allowance" to chairman Bob Wigley even after the company collapsed, the Evening Standard can reveal. Wigley received confirmation of the rise last October - three months after angry shareholders were left with nothing when the shares were suspended. A letter to Wigley, which hibu disclosed at the request of dissident investors, said he would get the increase on a monthly basis until the completion of hibu's restructuring, due later this year. Wigley, a well-known City figure and ex-Merrill Lynch banker, already had a salary of £264,000. It means his pay rose to the equivalent of almost £400,000. Meanwhile, accounts for Yellow Pages Limited, a key subsidiary, show "key management compensation" jumped 70% to £6.5 million in the year to March 2013. Those close to hibu insisted the 70% pay increase was not on a "like-for-like" basis as the number of management changed. They said Wigley needed the extra pay as his role was taking up far more time. But Barry Dearing, lawyer for the Hibu Shareholder Group, said it was "excessive". Hibu's collapse under £2 billion of debt has been controversial. Although the parent company went into administration, Yellow Pages and other subsidiaries continue to trade after a debt-for-equity swap with lenders. Hibu Finance (UK) was due in court today to discuss the restructuring. Hibu declined to comment. | freddie ferret
24/1/2014 23:57 | I can say very little about the happenings of today. The results seem good for the HSG and we are very well pleased. If I can update further following press articles I will. | freddie ferret

24/1/2014 16:48 | Hi all. I started this thread as an information thread, it was originally intended to be a read write thread which would have given me the power to ban people. I cannot do this here. Anyway I would ask all avatars to move over to the other WSGROCKSIT thread for bun fights. I accept for the time being there is unlikely to be any exciting news that needs reporting here. Please all HSG members, realise that Matt is a provocation and totally in league with the other side, maybe another variant of Lunar, who knows. His object is to cause trouble and if Lunar, is a bloody site cleverer than you are, avoid. | freddie ferret

The proof is there for all to see especially their members. | 13matt13

24/1/2014 13:52 | He's obsessed with "the 10". If HSG wanted to vote out the existing directors of Hibu - you obviously need replacements! I suspect these threads will be gone soon but I hope you guys get something back. He should be more concerned about the 10,000 - you know the 10,000 plus small shareholders - many who joined HSG - seems like only 1 is complaining... | knigel
24/1/2014 13:49 | Hey matt! So what's your HSG username? "The 10 need to do better than this" Are your press articles as good as your posts on this board? No one would ever publish anything from you as they would be done for libel! | ep0ch
