So the Chairman's off, with parting statement about returning £1b to investors? What about same figure reduction in turnover ? Group CEO missing,UK CEO chosen 30th July (19) started 1st Oct(19) Strategy statement 41/2 months later.Talk about hitting ground running!! Anyway turnover down 12.5% (£80m) this financial year alone.See management costs (£8.3m) hasn,t changed much!

So the website been taken from the internet,is that so the former shareholders can,t post any critism towards the company .Forthe year on year reduction in Turnover &the company (explanations for this!)- Pursuit of discretionary sales policy!!or the path to growth is proving challenging (that's my favourite But any company that has a press comment up on its website for TWO YEARS telling customers its ceasing publications of its catalogues to me ,that's telling customers NOT to do business with you also why the reluctance to put out the group results is someone shy about them for some Reason !?To the officers in charge (you can have loads of traffic on your website )but if your salepeople aren't selling then your company can't compete.

What happened to HIBU/YELL is exactly what is now happening to Debenhams.
Mike Ashley has pointed out that the management are burning cash as fast as they can.
Large US debt holders.
Wonder who the restructuring experts will be. Detoilets?

Personally I think the law needs changing.

There are circumstances where restructuring is appropriate, however management should be legally obliged to run a company for the shareholders and not be party to deliberate debt hijack imho.

The same thing happened to Polaroid in the US more than once.
