Hi Battlebus2. As holder of these shares, I like your optimism. Would you care to elaborate?

All last week it looked like the shares were in demand with large buys until Friday and today what appears to be very large sales. That's right after the results date is announced. Any views?

s it my wishful thinking OR - has there been recent, steady buying? The share price seems to tick down a little for no reason against, what I see as, a background of teady demand. OR is it just that I have added?

I think the fund manager could be right. I have held these for over a year in the belief that Peel Group would eventually take control of what is a natural partner operating more to the east of the Pennines. The process of disengagement from UK Coal is now complete and Harworth's land bank is huge. The fact that Peel are still acquiring shares, bringing it very close to the 30% mark, is a very positive sign. The Chairman and 75% Shareholder of Peel is in his seventies and may be looking to re-list the company. I could be wrong, but Harworth would be an option.

Relatively new here. Apart from the shareholding, is there any link between Peel Holdings and Harworth.

A fund manager highlighted these to me suggesting they could be worth 20p in the fullness of time. I topped up again on the budget news.

Brownfield planning policy should bring sites forward faster, which can only be good news.

And what about those who bought at 2p? ;-)

Its ironic that one might have bt this at 4p and tripled your money.I would have thought the answer is in my post of 27 April. Maybe some are expecting the NAV to rise supporting a higher valuation. This must be one of the biggest UK landbanks and the builders will be eyeing up the portfolio.

Well, nice uplift today with quite a lot of buying going on. Does anyone know of anything specific that may have prompted this buying spree?

Folderboy don't forget we have risen from 7.25p based on this information released so not expecting any fireworks.

I thought that was a very positive RNS - the market seems less sure - or certainly less impressed. Added.

Yes but the NAV may rise. The election has property owning as a central theme -I expect the Harworth Estate to get revalued upwards in due course.

Think NAV will get an upward re-rating well north of 10p in due course.

It's already effectively controlled by Peel Holdings.

I suspect this could be taken out since property companies are an attractive long term investment
