Please correct the following as needed for HRE
Number of shares = 165 million
Current price = 0.75p
Total cap = £1,230,000
Ascot deal
£429,999 convertible at 20p per share = 2,149,995 shares
warrants convertible at 20p per share = 3,009,993 shares
Total on conversion = 5,159,988 shares
Current price of Ascot 40p = £1,031,998 profit if all options were converted and sold plus we get the £429,999 back (0.887p per share).
For every 10p in price of Ascot HRE would make another £516,000 profit (0.31p per share)
Ascot share price at £1.00 would = share price of 2.5p
I have ignored the dilution of the convertibles and warrants as it will only add 0.3% to the number in issue. Also ignored RRR investment.

Ascot is producing gold now and ramping up production to hopefully 150 tonnes per day.
Both RRR and T1ps will be pushing Ascot up to the AIM market as soon as possible. The market and liquidity in the shares will improve as will its visibility to investors.

Any thoughts on the future share price of Ascot just on a move to the AIM market?
Or the value of Ascot on producing 1,200 oz per month ( targeted for first quarter of 2011)?

Picked up some more this morning because if a gold mine can't do well at this point in time there is a severe problem with management. The fact that AB from RRR is happy with the management is a plus point for me, so happy to buy and wait for the move to AIM.

decided top have a dabble at these levels, almost at the 0.60p that the recent funds were raised at.. and with ascot puring its first gold today..

Marab, I agree with your points. The egm update and the investments addressed all of the concerns that many investors had when they heard the original news. I am a holder, and will stick with this. I just hope that the overall capital base is increased a bit more in order to increase liquidity.

Bit disappointed in the share price to date. I agree with your asset summary and it seemed a really good start to me, a few more deals like that one would be great. Time to buy some more maybe before Ascot gets to AIM. If Ascot gets to a £1 as TW has forecast then this one deal could be truly excellent. We wait and see what the next deal is I suppose and maybe pick up a few more while it is quiet. Happy to keep holding on here anyway.

TW can obviously get funding for investment and he seems to make that money work hard. Big management percentage but he has a reputation for keeping costs down and at least he gets paid on results and doesn't just take a big salary like so many out there, so that should cover a fair bit of the 25%. And he doesn't seem to hang about either.

As I understand the RNS,

They sell shares in the company at 0.6p to raise £670,000
They buy convertibles that pay us 10% interest until 2015 at which time they convert the £430,000 convertibles into shares at 20p which means at today's price at least £846,000.

They also have 3,001,000 warrants to buy at 20p which if exercised today would give over a £600,000 profit.

So they have raised £670,000, and now have an investment worth about £1,450,000 plus cash left of £160,000. And that does not allow for Ascot's price increasing before 2015 or the 10% interest on the convertibles of £43,000 a year worth another £160,000 - £200,000 depending on when they convert.

What have I got wrong here????

Kenny am I missing something or is this the amazing deal it seems to be?

Buying convertibles paying 10%, convertible at 20p a share in 2015 and the share price is currently 44p. Plus warrants to buy another 3 million at 20p valid for 5 years.

Started to work it out on a spreadsheet then decided to buy some shares and do the working out later.

Seems to me the company has raised money at 2/3rds the current share price and invested 2/3rds of that and instantly doubled the value of the investment without even considering the options. And they get paid 10% interest to do it.

Oh dear, Alistair Ford appointed, on top of the t1ps crew

How promotional does this outfit want to be?

Still no substance here unfortunately and a vastly overinflated market cap to boot
