03/12/2010 11:45 | none, its all done for you... you write the content I'll add the html.. | kennyruss
03/12/2010 11:43 | I'll have a think about it, but don't know what's involved. Will get back to you by the end of the weekend. What program do you use to write and test thread? | marab
03/12/2010 09:28 | Marab, why don'y you start a new thread:) - for Atholl Gold - I have too many on my plate... I'll help u with the HTML if you wish? | kennyruss
03/12/2010 08:06 | 4m is nowhere near 3%. Time yet though eh. I feel a lot more comfortable if preferred investors are getting in at only a little less than the current price. I have been buying more too as funds come free, only quarter what you have but adding. I suppose really I am buying for the warrants to buy Ascot at 20p more than anything else. | marab
02/12/2010 21:39 | Just seen that RNS lol, missed it earlier. If TW's Associates have bought at 0.60p and are expecting action, then I am pretty comfortable to buy at 0.70p. Yes Marab I have 4m | kennyruss
02/12/2010 20:53 | Cheers Kenny, but it would be nice to know wouldn't it. I would think they will be quite prompt in revealing the NAV quarterly so they can get their 25%. You must have a fair holding now. The new shares re today's RNS were bought at 0.6p so it will be interesting to see how many of them get flogged off. If it's a lot it won't show much confidence in TW. Investments in October and November so NAV in February perhaps. It's not like it will take long to work out. | marab
02/12/2010 20:38 | Marab to answer that question "Athol Gold" as they are now known don't need to disclose any of the positions unless they cross the 3%. So all they required to do is disclose NAV and any positions above 3%. I don't really have an issue with that, but would assume they would report quarterly on NAV - as to when that is - I don't know (I did ask:) )... | kennyruss
02/12/2010 19:45 | argy2- That's what I am working on at the moment. Is it cheaper to buy Ascot direct at 43p or to buy HRE with its warrants to buy Ascot at 20p. I would be happier if I knew what else HRE had invested in. | marab
02/12/2010 16:28 | If everyone is so sure Ascot will go £1 soon...buy that | argy2
02/12/2010 16:17 | Kenny, small point but "however you need to take off the £620k," should be £602,000. So if Ascot reached a £1 per share the added value would be 5.16m shares times 57p = £2,941,200 or roughly 0.65p per share on the fully diluted 400+ million shares. So pluses for Ascot share price from the 43p, are increasing output to 1,200 oz per month with the intention to get up to 2,000 oz per month. AIM listing 8 other veins to explore over and above the current one they are mining. Further opportunities yet to be identified. RRR backing. DYOR if your brain can take the pressure. | marab
02/12/2010 16:14 | well they did convert 80m shares of loan notes at the EGM, could be some profit takers from 0.25p? | kennyruss
02/12/2010 15:39 | Judging by the almost non existent spread someone appears to be selling a hill of shares. Can't even sell £500 worth. | marab
02/12/2010 10:19 | the 1.5m buy was mine - can buy at bid price | kennyruss
02/12/2010 08:02 | Kenny - At least now we know where we are. Would be nice to know what the other investments were though. Don't see why they should be a secret. Not so easy to invest in a company when you don't know what it's doing. Thanks for all that effort. | marab
01/12/2010 20:25 | lol.... remember my NAV is based on fully diluted share capital. | kennyruss
01/12/2010 20:10 | Thanks Kenny. Virtually identical to my summary. Except for most of the numbers. And some other stuff. | marab
01/12/2010 18:44 | backmarker - Never thought you were and I was just starting things off and have no problem with people making constructive comments. Enjoy the cruise. I will have another crack at it anyway. We will see what Kenny comes up with in his spare time. It's not like he has anything else to do. | marab
01/12/2010 18:10 | fully diluted there will be 400m shares We have approximate £500k spread over 10 investments plus the ascot stake, will do the facts and figures later... every 10p rise in Ascot will equate to a 0.10p rise in NAV backmarker will get back to you later... | kennyruss
01/12/2010 17:36 | marab, I wasn't having a go, fully understood you had put the numbers up as a starter. just trying to contribute a bit myself and see whether this is worth investing in. I'm off cruising the Med from this weekend, so by the time everyone has worked out the numbers there may be nothing left to go for by the time I get back. such is life. | backmarker
01/12/2010 16:26 | backmarker - my effort was a starter for ten. More than happy for people to attack the problem and come up with more accurate figures. I freely admit to having lost track of all the bits and pieces, and especially the 25% of NAV which if pretty unforgivable really. I might have another go at the weekend when I have more time, which is no reason why the rest of you can't have a go too. So if we say that every extra 10p is £375,000 to the company that should at least put that bit right allowing for TWs 25%. My Ascot figures at least should be right, although I admit dividing by 450 million rather than 160 million might alter the final results slightly! To many stocks I think. Half of them seem to be changing their names this month too. Maybe we could compare figures on Sunday and form an opinion. | marab
01/12/2010 15:55 | marab, trying to get my head round all this. post the egm HRE has 260,098,202 shares in issue sp = 0.72p, Mcap = £1,872,707 this does not include the 172,657,200 shares represented by the 431,643 convertible loan notes of GBP1 (from the 26 Oct announcement) [note: this is not a 0.3% dilution as you state above but a massive 66% increase and there are warrants as well ? and then there's the 25% of NAV increase that timbo will get. prior to all this they seem to have invested £400k in various companies, but I haven't identified what. then there's the Ascot deal on which they will clearly make something, even allowing for timbo's share. more calcs needed on this. | backmarker
01/12/2010 14:44 | Kenny, took the share numbers from Digital Look. Happy to hear if I have got anything wrong. O/T MTV looks good once you understand the possibilities. | marab
01/12/2010 14:03 | I agree, This Share has not been noticed yet..... Loaded as much as possible, worth at least 6p...by Last investment | gdasinv2 |
